Restaurante especializado en gastronomia tipica chiapaneca, en un ambiente colorido, de folklor y tradicion chiapaneca. Diariamente hay musica de marimba en vivo y todas las noches show de bailes folkloricos. Abierto todos los dias de 12:00 del diaa 12:00 de la noche. Un poquito de Chiapas en un solo lugar. Ambiente casual, Comida de tipo casera con el toque chiapaneco.

If you are looking for authentic chiapaneca food this is the place to visit. They have created a beverage called pumpo with vodka and pineapple juice that is refreshing and sweet. Servers are polite but unfortunately very very slow and check took around 30 minutes to come. If you are willing to wait, flavors may worth it.

I wouldn't call this a Italian restaurant just because they serve Pizza and Pasta. The Pizza didn't taste at all, the pasta was ok. Meat was fine, but not Italian style.
The size of the servings was good and the waiters did their best.
And, I don't want to blame the restaurant, but my little girl got terrible sick after eating there.
Summary: If you are just hungry go there, if you want to enjoy, better drive to Tuxta Guiterrez for more choices

If you want an upscale meal, or to be pampered, go elsewhere. In fact, don't go to Chiapa de Corzo at all. However, if you happen to be in town, and want to be pleasantly surprised by simple, well-prepared local food at very low prices, come here. We ate here twice, and were very pleased both times. The breakfast was especially good, and the Heuvos Mexicana were delicious.

El Campanario offers a lovely environment with live miramba music. Unfortunately, there aren't any vegetarian selections. They did make me a salad which was made up of sliced cucumbers, tomatoes and radishes. It is impossible to find a true green salad in Chiapa de Corzo. This restaurant serves pozol. This is local drink made from cacao, corn, cinnnamon and water. I would only come back to drink the pozol.

What a simple place. 1 kind of Tacos, very few drink options, 1 salsa, 1 other condiment made with chiles and lime. You enter and see rows of large tables with benches meant for people to sit together. An interesting Seating concept but really feels right for the type of Place. The tacos are Cochito, which is Pork. Mouth watering good, best tacos I have ever had comparable to any taco Nation Wide in Mexico!!! It is hard to believe they are so cheap too! The Pozol del Cacao is worth mentioning, perfect companion for the Tacos and the heat in Tuxtla served in a Jicara Shell and placed on the caps that can be found at the tables. Service is quick, friendly and efficiente less than 1 min probably from orders being placed till the food is served! Opens early making an interesting option for Breakfast and closes early at 3pm. A definate stop if you go to Tuxtla for some of the best Tacos ever!

We visited La Mansion during our most recent Surgical Mission to Chiapas. To Start the Service was incredible. ABel and Eduardo were excellent and attentive.
The food was prepared well and presented well.
The price was more than reasonable
We went back a second night during our trip.
