Reviewed By R9240CRjamesbThis resort has clean comfortable rooms on beautiful grounds. There is hot water and even a hair dryer which was a nice touch. The owners went out of their way to help us rent bikes and find restaurants.

Quiet, charming resort
Reviewed By sarahkQ9420YHThis was a lovely upscale little property--well-designed huts, garden, pool, open-air main hall and a good view of the main mountain. Very, very quiet. The young girls on the staff were eager to help, if not always able, and Nun, the bartender, made the most incredible cocktails I've ever had in my life. He serves half-a-dozen standard drinks (screwdriver, mojito, etc.) but the ingredients and mixing were really exquisite. My only complaints were with the location, which was close to the town rather than the mountain and entailed renting a bike (roads not biker friendly) or a songthaew (uncomfortable negotiations with drivers) to get out to the main attractions. Also, I wish there had been a masseuse on hand or on call. And the food really needs improvement! The breakfast was poor and the half-dozen dinner dishes only fair. A good chef and a masseuse would really elevate a place that already has a lot of potential.

Fantastic stay!
Reviewed By PF2UKLovely little getaway. Clean and comfortable bungalows with lots of space. Away from the main road but easy to walk into the centre of the town. Nueng is super helpful and friendly - a really nice guy. Small but tasty breakfast buffet and great eggs home-cooked by Nueng's son. Fantastic coffee from local producers on the nearby mountain. Highly, highly recommended!

Nice resort with a magnificent view !
Reviewed By Liling TOverall a great resort, view is directly in front of Chiang Dao mountain and hence you can take really nice picture just from the lobby/Swimming pool of the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Service is good. :) oh and remember to try their coffee !! Their coffee is really great with interesting “healthy 3-in-1 mix”x there is some room for improvement. Our room the wooden hut which is separated and have many insects in the bathroom especially! I understand that it’s close to nature, however I believe that there is more that the resort can do to help present insect from coming in. Tower is really thick and rough, a better quality hotel grade should be use instead. If you are worried about insect, it will be wiser to upgrade the room to the better tier.

Tranquil and relaxing life of a farmer retreat
Reviewed By chephrenchuaThe place is like our old village in singapore and malaysia 30 years ago, wooden hut, mosquito curtain, we happen to be staying during hot rainy season, so there we lots of mosquitoes and spiders all around, bats and owl above our hut. If not for my son, this place will be livable for me and my wife. But my son was so worried about the insects he couldn't sleep whole night. They have great self grown fruits and veg, dinning is in the great open. 2 huts togetner for 2 family. Would have like it here very much except for my son. TIPS : Bring insecticide here too if you are not too keen on living with them and bathing besides them.else go during cold season in december, was told there will be less insect.

Reviewed By kakaovyshatanSpent 3 night there. Would not ever change it for any other hotel/resort. The views in the morning, wildlife in the evening and at night were so stunning I wish I could spend there more time. Beautiful huts, clean and well maintained. Wish I could come back there one day.

Reviewed By dodgersblue_dVery relaxing atmosphere! There’s a pond, creeks, gardens, even a small place with deers, chicken, ducks and goose! Not to mention dogs and a water buffalo. It’s big enough to walk around for exercise purposes as well. Enjoyed our stay very much. The internet was slow and inconsistent but that’s about the only down side to our stay. Of course this was a family getaway and we told the kids no devices (we brought board games) so the slow internet was actually good!

Huts: Eco-friendly made yet very comfy with enough pillows and mattress, freshly washed and dried. Balcony with great view of Doi Luang Chiang Dao. We visited in mid November. Weather is beautiful and fresh. No bugs/mosquitoes. No mosquito net needed. Host: P Mui is super nice and kind. She makes the place special. She suggests places to visit, cooks us meals, makes our beds, feeds the dogs, feeds the cats, feeds the chickens. She basically does everything. She took us to Phor Doi Koi Dao cafe which is a cute little coffee place close by with splendid view of rice fields and offers great freshly brewed coffee and delicious cakes. Facilities: Huts are comfy and homely. It's almost like you're visiting a relative's house. Toilets and shower are separated from huts. Anyhow the big family compound are equipped with one though. Fan is provided. Would definitely come back to stay. Highly recommended for those seeking local experience and peaceful stay. Kindly note though that this place doesnt suit those who dislike dogs or cats or chicken since you're going to definitely be surrounded by them. Theyre not aggressive though. All very gentle and are good boys lol. The host speaks good English and would go pick you up if you give her a call lol. How nice of her. ขอบคุณพี่มุ่ยมากๆนะคะ เป็นโฮสท์ที่น่ารักมากๆ ดูแลทุกอย่างตั้งแต่ปูผ้าปูที่นอน อาหารเย็น อาหารเช้า ที่เที่ยว ที่ถ่ายรูป แนะนำที่เที่ยว พาไปคาเฟ่ใกล้ๆ (ซึ่งวิวสวยมากกกก) พี่มุ่ยทำอาหารอร่อยมาก น้ำพริกเด็ด หมูทอดอร่อย คุยสนุก คุยเพลิน เหมือนมาเยี่ยมญาติ 5555 กระท่อมที่นอน สบายดีมากค่ะ ผ้าปูสบาย ปลอกหมอนซักใหม่ ผ้านวมนุ่มสบายดี มีพัดลมให้ อากาศเย็นสบาย ไม่มียุงเลย ตอนเช้าหมอกเยอะมาก สวยสุดๆ จากระเบียงห้องมองไปเห็นดอยหลวงเต็มๆ กลางคืนปิดไฟหมดแล้วนอนดูดาวที่ระเบียงได้สบายมาก คืนมืดๆน่าจะเห็นยันทางช้างเผือก แนะนำมากๆค่ะ มาพักกันเยอะๆ ไม่ผิดหวัง ราคาถูก บ้านน่ารัก อาหารอร่อย เจ้าของใจดี ถ้ามีโอกาสจะกลับมาอีกแน่นอน แต่แนะนำสำหรับคนกลัวหมาแมวอาจจะไม่ชอบเท่าไหร่ หมาเยอะมากนะคะมีประมาณ 6 ตัว แต่น้องๆน่ารัก ไม่เห่า ไม่ตะกุยตะกาย มีแค่มาส่งสายตาเว้าวอนขอขนมกิน มีแมวด้วย 2 ตัวค่ะ ใครชอบหมาชอบแมวเหมือนเรา มานี่เล่นเพลินเลย 5555
