Locally owned coffee shop featuring all of your favorite coffee/espresso drinks. Smoothies, frappes, chai, and over 12 loose leaf teas also available. We have fantastic made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, home-made soups, sandwiches, and our famous Chicken-Almond-Grape Wraps. We offer hand-dipped ICE CREAM from Ashby's Sterling! The best and creamiest around! We have a dining room, and also offer convenient drive-thru service.
This could be a great coffee shop, but every time I have tried it, something goes terribly wrong! From stale tasting coffee and hard (literally hard), tasteless muffins (they serve day old also, but don't label them as day old!) to awful service, this place needs some new management. Actually, they should close and (yes, I am going to say it) open a Starbucks here. Once I went here for a business meeting. I didn't want to order prior to my colleagues arriving, so I grabbed a table and was waiting patiently, when the Owner approached me and told me I couldn't just "hang out" I had to order something. Mortified, I politely explained that I was waiting to have a meeting and she actually told me that she hoped that they showed up soon! Terrible, terrible service, ok coffee, and stale food...won't be back again.

Seasonal Treats to delight the masses. Summer nights aren't complete without a summer treat like fresh soft serve ice cream from a walk-up counter. Your inner child will thank you as will your children and grandchildren, for quick trip to the Valley Villa. A staple in Chesterland since forever, renew your tradition or start today.

Had received a gift certificate to this restaurant that's a little off the beaten path (in Chesterland, Ohio) and am so glad I went! While on any given night, the menu choices are limited, the food is excellent and the menu choices change regularly. EVERYTHING, including dessert, was creatively prepared and exquisitely tasty. Expensive but worth it.

Last couple of times we stopped by here for Blizzards, we were disappointed that they were too soft. By DQ standards, the Blizzard should be able to be served to you upside down without spilling out. This is impossible at this place. It would poor out all over you if they tried that. Something is wrong with their equipment or the settings are wrong. Or they are making them wrong. Hopefully they get this fixed soon. Blizzards are the only reason we go there.

Unique local tavern serving amazing barbecue and featuring gourmet specials at very reasonable prices. Great craft beers and bourbons. Now offering Flights of our many bourbons.
I ate at Oak & Embers on US-322 with a group of friends. I ordered the Cajun Grouper and it was very tasty. The servers were friendly and food came out quickly. The only issue we had during our visit was a lack of refills... Several of us waited more than once for refills on our beverages.

I love My Thai, Great food, great people, great time. I have a good meal there every week. I have not ever had a bad experience at My Thai. If you eat, you must try My Thai.

I'm fortunate to live in the same town where Guido's has been pleasing customers for decades. It's a mom and pop place where the third generation is now hard at work, one of those places where the help knows many of their customers by name and folks who move away come back for a visit and demand to go to Guido's for a meal. But good service alone doesn't keep people coming back; it's the delicious food as well. Their house made Italian dressing is among the best I've ever had, and their pizza, different for its square cut instead of the usual round pie, is that rarity where the crust, sauce and cheese are all top notch. I'm also partial to the cavatelli with the meat sauce; the pasta is always perfectly cooked and the sauce so tasty! Best of all, the portions are humongous. I've been known to eat some of my cavatelli at the restaurant and still take home enough for not one but two meals.

Breakfast and lunch casual food including omelets, skillets, gyros and specialities like the Manner's double decker, Italian, and breakfast burgers. Also carry awesome salads, homemade soups and wraps. Daily specials too! Family friendly! We have built a reputation of a hometown diner with great food, big portions and reasonable prices.
Rise and Dine is one of two diners within a few hundred yards of each other on Chillicothe/Route 306 in the center of Chesterland. (The other one, by the way, is the Silver Skillet Cafe).
This is almost exactly what you'd expect. They have items off the grille for breakfast and lunch. The place has a casual, almost lived-in feel. The restaurant is full of locals and regulars and the waitresses chat easily with them as they go around the tables.
I had the "green eggs and ham", which was basically a ham and spinach omelet with different kinds of cheese. The portions were plentiful and it was fresh and tasted good. I thought the price was very reasonable.
If you want a small town diner experience, this is a very good choice.

Farmer in the Deli is in an unremarkable strip shopping center in Chesterland near the corner of state routes 322 (Mayfield) and 306. It's very popular with locals.
This is basically a deli and takeout place. If they have any seating, I haven't seen it. They have deli items, a smallish specialty grocery, and fresh fruit. There were a number of Italian brands you do not ordinarily see in grocery stores. You can buy deli meats and cheeses or sandwiches made to order.
When I was there they had Boar's Head deli products, as well as more local and Amish meats and cheeses. The food was very good as attested by the steady stream of customers when I was there on a Wednesday afternoon.

We enjoyed the food very much. We made a reservation, which for a Tuesday night we did not think was needed........we were wrong. The restaurant was totally full. Our table was reserved with full place settings and met at the door by very polite and friendly staff. This is not a fast food restaurant. They take great pride in their food..........thus take some time and enjoy the table conversation. You will not be disappointed by the food.
