Classic Vermont country Inn. Charming yet modern. Huge Stone fireplace in lobby. Spacious common areas. All rooms have private baths. Near skiing/hiking/shopping areas. In-house restaurant and pub. Great place to stay! Available for weddings, conferences and reunions. Internet access available.
We stayed during the week. The inn was quiet, there were very few guests. There are cute shops and cafes within walking distance. Central to multiple ski areas. There are town hiking trails a 5 minute drive away that are nice. Affordable. Breakfast is only continental which is a bummer.

Charming 1700's Farm house located in the Chester Vermont country side.
This is a classic farm house B&B experience with charming rooms and first rate hospitality. They serve a wonderful breakfast and provide coffee, tea and delicious baked goods for snacks. In the evening there is a roaring fire for guests to enjoy. The beds were comfortable and rooms appropriately appointed. Bathroom was small (as advertised), but adequate.

A lovely, quiet B & B run by Suzy. Clean, period appropriate and nicely decorated with Suzy's own artwork (horses). She was very accommodating and informative about the town (Chester). Even though we stayed only one night because we were driving to Maine, it was delightful. Thanks, Suzy!

I received several off-putting messages from the inn...beginning with the rate was higher than I booked it for, and I can “cancel if I want”, later, “we have a 2 night minimum but I’ll waive it for you” after I had booked a one night stay. No apology for the mis-information from Booking.com where I booked the room, just run-on sentences without punctuation. Several back and forths, and the inn literally told me to cancel, and made no effort to be friendly or accommodating. I’m very surprised the ratings are so high.

Nestled in the ski mountains of Vermont is the Snowgoose Inn. The property has all of the warmth of a traditional inn, but with many upgrades that makes you feel like you are at a 4 start hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable bedding, and equipped with EVERYTHING that you could think of. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a complimentary Charcuterie board (min. 2 night stay), bottle of wine and nibbles, that says "Welcome". A full breakfast is included. The new inn keepers, Jonathon and Cheryl Parker, could not be more accommodating and friendly. They' re doing it right! The attention to detail in the accommodations and the property are evident. (great intimate gathering spaces)The property is located 1 mile from Mount Snow and is conveniently located to shopping, hiking and skiing, of course. The inn boasts of 14 rooms and is the perfect spot for family reunions, business retreats, girls get aways or a family ski vacation. We will definitely be back again!

A clean, cozy, comfortable b&b featuring hearty home-cooked breakfasts with a casual, friendly atmosphere.
We stayed here for one night for a quick getaway. We arrived just as it was getting dark so we drove by it the first time. The sign is actually on the building, not near the entrance. Our innkeeper checked us in and escorted us upstairs to our room,Sugar Maple. The room was very basic but cute. The bathroom was very clean but also very old. We wanted to enjoy the wood stove in the common room but both before and after dinner we found the seating area fully occupied. We did manage to get a spot to sit later in the evening as the fire was about to go out, so it was still nice. Unfortunately we didn't get a lot of sleep here due to the noise coming from a fan motor all night, which I assume was the bathroom fan in a neighboring room. Too bad they felt the need to run that fan all night long. Breakfast was a nice assortment - frittata, waffle and sausage. I liked having a little bit of everything rather than having to choose one or the other. We checked out immediately after breakfast to explore the area. All in all it's a simple, quaint inn that I wouldn't mind visiting again. But I would bring ear plugs in case someone leaves their bathroom fan on!

Historic Inn built in 1810 features 10 accommodations (all with private bath), tavern with full bar, library, player piano, sitting room with fireplace and game room with hot tub and cable TV. On 6 acres, one mile to shopping, antiques, dining, theater and recreation. Minutes to several area ski resorts including Okemo, Bromley & Magic Mountains. Near Weston Playhouse, Grafton, Saxtons River, Ludlow, Springfield and Claremont NH.
Sheldon, Francy and Aggie are a really nice team. Sheldon greets and checks you in, while Francy is cooking up the grub for the restaurant. Aggie may give you a bark, but she will make you love her with that beautiful personality. The location is great, PAVED ROADS, get you to Chester Town Center and you can take Rte 11 to 91 and beyond. We enjoyed the meal, from Steak Frites, Eggplant Parm to Lobster Rav's. The beer selection was wonderful. The rooms, well, clean, cozy ( small ) but wonderful for those looking for a bit of history. The front porch is as inviting as the gardens too. Priced for the enjoyment of the outdoors.
