So, our summer rental is midway between Alecsie's House of Pizza on rte 137 and Stone L'Oven on Underpass. Of the two, Alecsie's is standard fare and with thin crust takeout, while Stone L'Oven aspires to gourmet, has high-falutin' ingredients, and also offers non-pizza options along with fashionable seating. But Alecsie's has standard pricing, while the Oven is $20 or more without toppings. We opted for Alecsie's and were quite content with takeout.

Each time we come to the Cape we need our Sweet Tomatoes. So now we know it is closed on Mondays ;) My Sweet Tomatoes is the one in Sandwich. Dont take me wrong the Pizza in Chatham is as good as the one in Sandwich and there is even more seating! But I think I am more a Upper Cape person.

Redâs NY Pizza and Bar opened in the Spring of 2015 and has since grown in to a popular Harwich neighborhood destination offering delicious NY style thin-crust pizza, subs, sandwiches, nachos and more. Redâs NY Pizza and Bar also features a full 18-seat b
The bar scene is a bit rougher than I prefer. However, the food was very good and we all enjoyed our take-out. I particularly liked the chicken parmesan. The pizza was also very good. I would certainly like to order from here again -

It was 4:30 on a rainy Sunday and we were looking for a place for "supper". As we passed N.E. Pizza, we decided to pop in. It was perfect. The people wee friendly, clearly invested in the restaurant and in their customers. There was something for each of us. One grandchild loved the home made mac and cheese while the other was very happy with a slice of cheese pizza. My daughter and I shared a cartelized onion and eggplant 14" pizza - delicious and two slices came home with us. My husband was in heaven with a 10" bacon pizza. The Red Sox were on TV with a winning score. What more could w have wanted! We were totally happy with our experience.

We live in Connecticut and are accustomed to excellent pizza, which is hard to find on the Cape. We just ordered 3 Sweet Tomatoes pies for take out, and everyone at our house was very pleased. The thin crust was cooked perfectly. No grease. Flavorful. We have no complaints and weâd definitely order again. Their pizza with caramelized onion is a favorite. If the pies were consistently this good, Iâd have rated them 5 bubbles.

Great pizza. New York Style pizza. Quick and easy. Tip... buy a whole pie and share or save it for breakfast! A better value for families as slices as are $4 each.

Ember Pizza is conveniently located at the corner of Route 28 (Main Street) and Bank Street. In contrast to a number of restaurants on touristy Caper Cod, they are opened year round. They have a nice large, off-street parking lot beside the restaurant. Their interior is divided into a bar area and a family area. The inside is bright and inviting with light finished (blonde) wood flooring, light walls (accented with alternate dark wall) and dark wood timber beams on the ceiling They too have a second bar outside (facing South), with bar side and table seating. Further, they have a nice fire pit on their outside patio. Another draw is that they have live music Wednesday through Saturday (6 - 10 PM). Their menu obviously features pizzas cooked in their 1000 degree, coal fired oven. They too offer wings, appetizers (spinach dip. bruschetta, scallops, calamari nachos, fried mozzarella, etcetera), salads, sandwiches (meatball parmesan, Chicken Parmesanâ¯â¯, Eggplant Parmesanâ¯, BBQ Chickenâ¯â¯â¯, Pulled Pork, & more), burgers, and pasta entrees. On a nice day, we sat outside at the bar. The service was good and we could enjoy football on the TVs above the bar. We tried their Meatball Parmesan sandwich, Cheese Ravioli (very good)â¯â¯ and Fig & Prosciutto Pizza( Fig Puree, Prosciutto, Balsamic Drizzle, Goat Cheese, 5 Cheese Blend). One dining companion ordered the pizza with no cheese? The result was a fairly bland but quite sweet pizza, which she did not like. Confess that I too tried it and agreed - it needed the cheese to balance everything out!! I had the Meatball Parmesan sandwich, which was tasty and satisfying. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Ember Pizza and would return.

We visited after a long day in Boston, on our way back to Chatham, where we have stayed all week on Cape Cod.The restaurant is in Harwich (pronounced "hair-itch") slightly off the main road, Route 28, and slightly downhill as you park. It's a small place ... seating in the 20-30 range? Very coastal New England feel, inside and out. What was great? The food, drinks, and friendly service. Nothing was amiss.Wife had seafood pasta, I had seafood au gratin, kid #1 had pizza, kid #2 had a chicken sandwich. All good.Tomato bisque was great! Clam Chowder got high marks from the kids. Wife's drink, a run punch, was a WINNER! She ordered a second and is sleeping soundly now!So, a bit off the beaten path, a bit away from touristy Chatham, and we were dressed kinda casual and we fit in. This is a good choice for families, maybe not babies though, as it is a cozy space (I was conscious NOT to be "that parent" when my kids were little.)

My daughter and I were walking in Harwich looking for dinner, Georgeâs was bustling. It looked exactly like the place to get a pizza. Itâs a dive kind of place. Order at the counter. Millions of take out orders. Baklava on the side. We had a pepperoni, mushroom, onion masterpiece. I usually donât eat the side crusts of my pizza. But I ate every piece of this one. Iâll be back.

You can tell this is place locals go. It is a converted house, so quite small. There is really nowhere to wait except outside because you walk right into one of the dining areas. It was worth the wait, though. We had a half-and-half pizza, plus some beer and sangria. Quite tasty with lovely service. We would return for sure if we lived in this area.
