We just spent two nights at this lovely country pub. Very welcoming, friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable with all the bits and pieces you would expect. There was a good selection of ales in the pleasant bar, and plenty of choices of food on the menu. The food was first class , served perfectly on very hot plates, so the food was lovely and hot. The portions were big, so you won't go hungry, especially after the wonderful full English breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

The Bed and Breakfast is set in picturesque and peaceful surroundings, within a few miles of the Somerset, Devon and Dorset border, perfect for the holiday maker and business person alike. Our five self contained rooms are detached from the main building and set back from the road. They are maintained to a high standard of decor and cleanliness whilst being cosy and providing all the little extras to make your stay comfortable.
We were in the area to perform at the local Warners Hotel. So I booked the Golden Fleece for it's convenient location. However, it's proved to be one of our very best ever B&B experiences and trust me, we've stayed at a lot. Clean room, large bed, quality towels & linens plus an amazing breakfast delivered to our suntrap terrace. I cannot recommend this place enough. Many thanks Carol & Kelly

We had a very warm welcome with tea and a delicious cake.. the setting is fabulous with great views and excellent local walks. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a dog with us who was made equally welcome. We wanted for nothing. We had a very tasty breakfast with great choice on both mornings. We look forward to our next visit

All rooms have microwaves fridges tea coffee making facilities all rooms en-suite with television and sky and parking available
The owner and his wife were both very welcoming. I had one of the little chalet type rooms behind the main hotel which I think was probably preferable as it was lovely and quiet on the whole. I did get woken up by I think it was a noisy fridge one night but other than that slept well and the bed was really comfy too. Only downside was there was no WiFi in the chalets at present as the owners are in dispute with their Internet provider. Personally I got round the issue by using my phone as a Hotspot though. I would stay again, as it was nice and central, very quiet in the chalets, and the room was nice, and it was clean and tidy which are all things I look for when booking.

Well, what a great find this was!! Beautiful grade 2 listed building in a fantastic location, lovely room, very comfortable bed, tea coffee hot chocolate biscuits on offer in the room, really big shower room with plenty of toiletries. The owners Lin and Simon are lovely people and made us most welcome (They had a little dog called Lottie who was also very pleased to see us!) The breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit yogurt cereals and a beautifully cooked full English breakfast, what more could we have asked for. You will not be disappointed if your book here.
