We went to Tony's this week with another couple (not our first visit). It was against my better judgment (due to past experience). Three of the four meals were not properly cooked and nothing was really done about them apart from a mumbled apology. Luckily I dodged the bullet this time but we will definitely not be back. IN'm pretty easy going but this was totally unacceptable.

We have had many excellent pizzas over the years at their former location. Today was not up to par. Burnt pizza crust with far too much cheese and far too little pepperoni. Waiter said the gas to their oven was not working as it should. Gave us free ice tea. Insalada was okay. We will go elsewhere.

Food is good...Margaritas are cold....prefer them a little more tart..but hey they are free as well as the wine..when you eat..
Our friend ordered the whole fried Red Snapper..Said it was the best ever she has had in Mexico..Loved it.
Sitting at the end of the Malecon while dining at Cozumel on the weekend..in sunny warm weather..makes everything great...!,

We're expats in-residence 10 years and we go to Delicia's on the average once a week. I love the chilaquiles! The club Sandwich is among the best ever. If one has a sweet tooth the Tres Delicia's crepes measure up; orange, apple, caramel. Quality is constant which along Lake Chapala can be a problem at the various restaurants......Pancakes are offered and have been good. But, to me nothing is worse than a dry pancake and they serve just little packets of syrup. I prefer Alfredo's California on the malecon-side of Chapala. They serve good pancakes with a 'pitcher' of syrup. Granted it is imitation maple and I am spoiled with the real thing. Still, hotcakes there are enjoyed more

Heard it is under new management. However, the previous owners, Richard and Rosie were wonderful people who made you feel right at home while providing you an excellent dinner -- European style. You can start with great homemade soup or salad and the entress are unique -- like beef stroganoff, etc.
Also, the drink prices are very affordable and the atmosphere is delightful.
Only drawback is it is only open like thursday through Saturdays and Reservations are a must.
Need to try it under the new management and hope they keep everything the same !

We are located on the paved road towards Mezcala right were Av. Pepe Guizar ends by the lake 50 yards from the corner.Or you can follow the directions in google maps. Look for us - Letra CH -
We were traveling for three weeks and stopped by our old town for a few days. Dinner with friends here was, as usual, absolutely amazing. Everyone ordered something different and everyone was very satisfied. Letra CH is my very favorite restaurant in the Lakeside area. You will not be disappointed.

Took advantage of the Tuesday "rib discount". Did not disappoint, in fact, the quality and service far exceeded our expectations! Servers were friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. As the meal was so filling, we were not able to try any desserts and were eagerly invited to come back for a special coffee and dessert another time. We were so impressed with this restaurant that we will definitely return. The atmosphere is quiet, "old school steakhouse meets Mexican el Fresco Dining". Perfection.

A large group of us gathered at El Rey Taco for his Wednesday night BBQ buffet special and had another good experience. Really good service, delicious BBQ and side dishes. Owner Marco Bouleau is serious about meeting customers' needs--if we call him in advance for something special we want, he is happy to comply. His menu features Mexican food as well as "gringo" dishes. His imported organic calf liver, smothered in sauteed onions and topped with bacon slices is the best Lakeside, IMHO. And his chamorro! (Not on the menu, but he makes it as a Friday special sometimes and makes it for us anytime we ask in advance.) If you get on his mailing list, he will notify you about specials. He also does a great job catering dinner parties. The location up the hill on the street that runs behind Soriana can be a bit of a challenge to find the first time, but it's well worth looking for.

First, to find the place: head toward Chapala, turn left away from the lake on the main road, Madero, continue thru town and turn right one block before the light at the Pemex station. Continue 1 1/2 long blocks; it's on your right.
They feature a buffet-style meal with about 8 entrees for 60 pesos. You tell them which you want and they serve your plate and then add rice, beans, potatoes, and fresh tortillas. There is a table with salsas, guacamole, and relishes. They also have a board that lists the day's specials. Note that these prices are added to the buffet. My husband got the fried fish fillet which added 60 pesos to his cost but which he proclaimed was well worth it.
The dining room is very attractive with about 4 tables that each seat 6-8 people. We sat next to the buffet, not realizing there was a separate dining room.
This is clearly a bargain restaurant, perfect for sampling local cuisine. The food was freshly prepared and each entree was very tasty. The staff was very pleasant and eager to please. We will definitely return.
They are open 8 to 4, closed Sunday.

We stopped for supper on a weeknight. Great coffee drinks and desserts.
We had shrimp and chicken, veggies.
It is a very reasonable place to eat, friendly staff, timely Delivery, excellent plating of foods. Quiet ambience, and bilingual staff.
I would describe it as romantic ambience.
