Good location within Le Morgane Hotel and very attentive service.Menu is not too wide and it have very good choices of appetisers, fish mains and meat mains.The lamb and cabbage meatballs are very tasty and the semi-salted black cod seared on a hot stone is extremely good too.Decor is simple and straightforward but perhaps needs a little update.Will surely go back.

Luckily we found this restaurant at lunchtime, at the end of our walk along the "Petit balcon sud" from Argentière to Les Tines.The weather was sunny and warm, so we were seated outdoors, sheltered from the sun with a big umbrella, in view of the Aiguilles and the property's pool.In addition to the view, even the food - without being great - was appreciable: fillet of sea bream (for two of us) and lamb chops (for me).The true weak side is the value for money: the main dishes mentioned above, a (good) glass of red wine, a small beer, a bottle of mineral water, two coffees, have cost 99 euros for three people: the highest figure of our whole week's stay in the Chamonix Valley.Dear Guest,Thank you for visiting our restaurant.We are focused on the quality of our food and be sure the products we use are all fresh and prepared by our chef.We compared our prices to the nearby restaurants and to Chamonix center ones, we are really much less expensive!I hope you will allow us a second chance to satisfy you,Kind regards,

Attentive and friendly staff; made same-day reservations for dinner and was promptly attended to. Loved the biscuit sticks and tuna dip (?) that came with our wine. Tried starters grilled octopus, escargots, and cauliflower soup with breaded shrimp - all were good. Fish of the day as main course was average.

Liz has been running this place for 8 years now, serving locals as well as tourists.We were 4, celebrating the end of our TMB hike. We had a first rate filet steak, accompanied with well selected wine. Desert was as good as the main course, and it was accompanied with the best desert wine we've ever had.

In Mont Blanc hotel- beautiful dining room- well spaced tables- prompt service - tuna tartare was unbelievable- extensive wine list (pricey) and by glass. 48 E for 3 courses and 40e for 2. 8 E supplement for tuna and truffle risotto

This is a magical slice out of a fairytale and my favourite place so far in the world!!! Everything is perfect, the personalised service, the small, delicate additions and touches that make it beautiful and precious. My now husband proposed here and I can't think of a lovelier place to say yes. Philippe himself is also very nice and has takes years to put together a little corner of perfection in the world. I can't wait to go back (once I save enough!). :-)

Very mediocre food and not cheap. I would expect more for my money.
