Reviewed By O6700BXpaulwWe loved it so much, we stayed another night! Right from the start, communication with the owners was easy, pleasant & efficient. We were offered a well equipped, spacious two bedroom apartment with fabulous views overlooking the castle. Everything was very clean, beds were very comfortable and there was a large bath with an overhead shower. There was also an additional separate WC. Plenty of wardrobe space, personal safe, WiFi worked perfectly well. Complimentary umbrellas are available at the entrance to the house. If you travel by car, they also provide secure parking for a very reasonable price compared to some of the public pay carparks. You can't beat this place for it's central location and excellent value for money. I recommend.

Nice accomodation in the great location
Reviewed By Andrej SNice accomodation in the great location - directly in the historical center. We had 3 apartments (2x4persons and 1xdeluxe apartment for 2). The rooms were tidy and clean and well furnished. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was really good. The parking is 5 minutes by walk. We were really satisfy and recommend this accomodation.

bellissimo e grande monolocale in bella posizione
Reviewed By AndreasUDBella casa, sul retro della residenza del proprietario, con ingresso indipendente e di recente costruzione, con le tapparelle alle finestre (caso unico trovato in Repubblica Ceca). Il monolocale che ci ha ospitato era molto grande, con cucinino, arredi rustici e bellissimo bagno con grande doccia. Il letto era molto grande, ma con materasso non comodissimo e solo cuscini di piuma. Bello e comodo il grande divano. Presenti molti prodotti per l'igiene in bagno. All'arrivo abbiamo trovato alcune fette di buona torta sul tavolo. Il centro è raggiungibile in ca. 20 minuti di piacevole cammino, c'è solo da prevedere una discreta salita al ritorno. La posizione della casa è panoramica. Ci sono, come sempre, pochi ripiani in bagno e mancano completamente nella doccia. Nonostante la richiesta specifica abbiamo avuto solo cuscini troppo morbidi, di piuma, sul letto. Il televisore è un po piccolo per la stanza, ma con molti canali sintonizzati. Si può pagare solo in contanti, corone ceche o euro, il cambio è abbastanza corretto.

Beautiful hotel in gorgeous garden
Reviewed By W9501AKchristinemWe loved our stay in Orangerie, in Cesky Krumlov. The hotel was perfectly located in this gorgeous town, and the hotel had free parking as well. This was so important in a busy historical town with limited traffic thoroughfare. The rooms were comfortable, bright and clean and the staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Reviewed By Dave AThe views from the balcony are unbeatable--you're actually in the shadow of the castle. The apartment is spacious, well located along the river, and the staff are very nice. The kitchen is well appointed and there are seats for four to eat. Free parking is a real bonus as well. Overall, for a self catering apartment you couldn't ask for more. If you are a light sleeper the noise from the pizza shop located directly beliw may be an issue. Not the apartments fault, just something to note.

Apartmany Latran No. 43 offer comfortable extraordinary accommodation in the historical centre of the UNESCO heritage reservation, a stone's throw from the castle of Cesky Krumlov and the area of Middle Age monasteries. Latran No. 43 is a Renaissance building. Its history dates back to the 1570's. The building's façade is lavishly decorated with rose, eagle and lion sgraffiti. The owners and their origin refer to the townspeople and various craftworks, e.g. a rope-maker, a carpenter, a goldsmith, a bookbinder, or a brew master of a prince.
Great location - poor customer service
Reviewed By Prudence HThe was a serious odour in our apartment which they refused to address and made me feel like I was lying. My complaint was not treated with kindness at all. The apartment also advertised that there was a washing machine - when I showed the receptionist my documentation which said the apartment came with the washing machine - she shrugged he shoulders - oh well! We couldn't wait to get out of there. Seriously lacking customer service!

Like in a fairy tale

We had apartment no. 2 it was separate flat with 3 rooms (bathroom with washing machine, living room and bedroom) There was a great cafe on the ground floor which serves coffee and chocolates. Services and prices were very friendly. Only one thing was unlucky it was insufficient sound permeability...

Could have been much better if grumpy landlord pays better attention
Reviewed By Rob684What is - without doubt - the best feature of this place is location, location, location. The location is perfect, right in old town centre. Our room #3 was spaceous, comfortable and clean (one exception). At night it is surprisingly quiet and we slept very well. Breakfast is included, complete and very good. But... we had a bad start. When asking the landlord (at restaurant Mastal) how to get there by car (for luggage), he was plainly rude and unfriendly and I realised that we had met the Czech version of Basil Fawlty. The other staff tried to help but didn't speak English or German well enough. According to the folder, our room had no wifi but only cabled internet. Who for goodness sake has cable internet on his mobile? Folder: "Cable is in the room in a conspicuous place". Why not just say where it is, because I couldn't find it. Maybe the folder was outdated, because I did detect a wifi network carrying the accomodation's name. When I asked staff, they didn't know and Basil the landlord didn't care to get involved. Mr Landlord, please try to learn what customer courtesy is! I know that you are extremely busy, but it is us customers who pay in fact your bills and profits. A bit of friendliness doesn't cost you anything and yet makes a big difference. Big minus: windows on our rooms did not open to fresh outside air but to inside corridor instead. Shower cabin had black mould in its sealings. One of the two single beds had its bedside against the wall, a bit uncomfortable to get in/out. In the entrance hall (the 'dungeon' according to another reviewer) was the smell of fermenting household refuse. This place definitely needs more attention to fully release the potential it surely has. I doubt that this will happen, because it is in high demand due to its location and the landlord is too busy running the restaurant. This is sad, because it is in fact a beautiful place at a perfect location. All in all, I am not sure whether I will recommend this place to my friends...

Reviewed By spencerchang飯店主人是當地人，並不熟悉英文，但溝通並不會有太多障礙，說話溫柔並相當熱情友善，對東方人來說（我是台灣人）在歐洲常有被忽略或輕視的感覺，在這間民宿不會有這樣感覺，覺得相當友善．我在這飯店不小心犯了一個錯誤，飯店主人也並不追究，我最後主動用一點現金表示我的歉意，這間飯店的評論並不算多，且東方人看來很少來這邊，但我真心地推薦，其實品質還不錯，乾淨溫馨，最重要的是友善． 住的房間在一樓後方，對兩個人來說有點小，但只是睡覺是可以接受的
