Buena atención, muy cerca a la plaza Alfonso López, fuimos en pleno festival. Pedimos Juan Valerios ( chicharrones) de entrada, de plato fuerte pedimos el manjar de los Santos Reyes, cubos de chivo vallenato, muy tierno acompañado de croquetas de yuca con queso costeño. También pedimos canasticas del juglar hechas en guineo con carne se costillas de cerdo ahumado. Tiene un patio muy bonito un poco desperdiciado deberían poner mas mesas en ese sitio. La atención es amable, hay detalles del restaurante que no cuadran, un aire acondicionado que gotea y no había agua en los lavamanos. Pero en general recomendable, con la comida vallenata estilizada.

El restaurante no queda en una zona muy concurrida de la ciudad, pero creo que es de los mejores, en la ciudad, en este tipo de comida. Muy buenos platos y a precios realmente razonables. Se puede cenar po unos 7 - 8 €. El único fallo es que le falta un poco de ambiente al lugar, sin embargo, totalmente recomendado !

The restaurant its kind of untidy ,I wait one hour and half for my meal ,and just one waitress for almost 40 people in the restaurant.Taste good yet wait that much for the meal underscores my rate ,if you have the change go to other place .Es mejor ir a otro lugar .Buenas tardes, en lo poco que entiendo de su idioma se que su visita no fue agradable como lo esperaba. Como propietario cada dia nos preocupamos para que sean mas los clientes satisfechos pero a veces hay circunstancias como las del festival que se nos salen de las manos. Tambien se de antemano que esa disculpa tampoco tiene justificacion pero lamentablemente hubo un dia del festival que el servicio fallo por fallas internas y pues desafortunamente coincidio con su visita. Si vuelve otro dia pida mi numero de celular para estar atenta a su visita. Saludos

When you eat in a chain fast-food restaurant, on the one hand, expectations are not high but, on the other hand, you usually know what you're going to get because at least these chains achieve consistency. Not true of this KFC where my chicken burger was cold, dry, hard and with old bread. I would have complained but the service was so miserable it just didn't seem worth it. To make matters worse, the restaurant has a smell that can only be described as "old mop" and the trash bin was full and piled up with trays (despite the restaurant being empty).

We wanted to try this restaurant because all the local taxis and the manager at the hotel recommended it, but they clearly don't know how to deal with foreign customers; I am from Colombia but my daughters are very English in their look, so the waiters stood around to make fun if then, asked the cook and other waiters to come and see like exotic animals. Plus we wanted rice with our meal and they said they don't serve in the evening; a total lied because we saw some one having rice served. So we left!

I had the opportunity to stay in Sonesta Hotel and try it's restaurant. The menu is not big but the options are delicious and they have incorporated some local food to the menu. Our meals today could have been so much much nicer, the potential was there, but everything seemed to disappoint. The punta gorda, which I ordered medium, was over cooked and really salty. The churrasco, which was ordered well done, had a colour, flavour and texture that comes from boiling meat. The mojarra, on the other hand, was a lightly cooked piece of fish, done just right. The accompanying french fries were home cut and looked appealing but were sadly over salted, the rice was great, and the salads were the anonymous piles of iceberg, onion and tomato so typical here. The service was pretty poor too. Properly cooked and seasoned, our meal would have been great and good value but sadly, it wasn't to be.
