Great tasting take n bake pizza I especially enjoy their sourdough pizza crust. It has always met our pizza needs when we feel like a take n bake pizza.

This location is convenient because it is on the way to my job and there is a drive thru. The drive thru moves quick but I sometimes I like to go inside because I like the peaceful ambiance. The employees are all very nice.

For years we have loved Dewz. We not only celebrate birthdays and anniversaries there, but we go there just for a nice dinner for no occasion at all, and in most cases the meals have been very good and worth the money....but not tonight. We went there for my wife's 56th birthday and we had pork ribs as appetizers - which were excellent, we had the Ceasar's salad, which was excellent (as always), and we had the Kobe beef style heart of the rib-eye steak, which costs $45 and was definitely NOT worth the money. One of our steaks was overdone (it came medium to medium well and we ordered them medium rare) and one of the two steaks was MUCH smaller than the other - noticeably smaller - and of course the smaller one was the one they overcooked. Neither of the two steaks came anywhere close to being worth $45. I've had expensive steaks at great steak houses in San Francisco and this wasn't that. This was an average steak. I've cooked much better, much more tender steaks on the grill in my back yard that I've gotten at Costco. The "Kobe style heart of the rib-eye....well, just choose something else.
Worse that the steaks were the side dishes (mashed potatoes and broccoli, both of which were cold....I'm talking at or below room temperature). When we took a fork full of them we just looked at each other in surprise and said, "These are cold!" at the same time. It was shocking, and so disappointing given that we've had so many great dinners at Dewz over many, many years. This was just....BAD. Had this been the first meal we'd ever had at Dewz we wouldn't have ever had a second. It will be some time before we give them another try.

On our way to Sacramento we had sandwiches and juice for lunch. My sandwich was a BLT way better than normal. It was on toasted sourdough, the bacon was great, and the tomato slices were good sized. Very tasty. I am surprised to find it is a chain, but at least not a national one.

Skewers Kabob House began as a family operation in 2003 and was dedicated to bringing healthy and delicious fare to Modesto. That same mission still holds true today, shown by their exceptional lunch and dinner menus, relaxing Mediterranean atmosphere, and pleasurable service. At Skewers, there's really something for the whole family! Bring the kids to eat for free Saturday and Sunday between 12pm and 4pm, enjoy a Mediterranean-style belly dancing show every Saturday, relax with a half-off bottle of wine on Wednesdays, or relax late into evening in our bar patio on the weekends. So whether you're looking to book a private party in one of their two Banquet Halls, or simply want to enjoy some family time with great food, Skewers Kabob House is an excellent choice!
My wife and some friends of ours stopped at Skewers as we were driving through Modesto on our way to Yosemite. We hit the restaurant mid-afternoon (off peak) but were received in a very welcoming and friendly manner. Our food was delivered quickly and was...MoreThanks for your continued support Dave!!!!!

We went with our grandkids for early breakfast. The pancakes are served on a platter and they hang over the plate! The pancakes were so large, we could not finish them! They were fluffy and delicious! We also had the egg, hash brown breakfast with a huge flaky, tender biscuit (comes with sausage gravy). The service was excellent too! We definitely will return!

I love the fresh menu choices and quaint eating area. My favorite dish is the pot of chocolate. Melts in your mouth. The food is always fresh and flavorful.

If you're looking for excellent authentic Mexican food this is the place! Reasonably priced, great atmosphere, family orientated and outstanding service. It gets very very busy but worth the wait.

With a very stylish interior, this establishment is dark and cool… A nice place to have a cocktail and dinner on a hot day.
We ordered a variety of rolls, a grilled salmon entrée and the Ahi Tuna Tacos. Everything was fresh and the service was efficient.
If you like Sushi style restaurants, this is one of the nicer ones in the Central Valley.

This is not the typical 'fast food' place at all. If you haven't eaten at Farmer Boys, you've missed out on something great.
Your breakfast comes on a real plate. Cooked just the way you want it. I had the bacon cheeseburger. Yummy stuff.
If you enjoyed your meal, be sure to ring the bell when leaving. They'll 'whoop' for you and give you a BIG thank you.
Extremely friendly young folks to make your day too.
