One of the best restaurants in Veszprem is located in the suburban area. It is close to Balaton. GUSTO13 used to be a pizzeria and nowadays the Italian dominance is still obvious, but the menu offers different cuisine as well. You can try the menu and the
Went there with our 2.5 years old kid. Reserved and the highchair was prepared at the table. Very good selection in general but there was also the meal of the day. Everything was delicious. Not very big portions so you can go through the whole selection range without getting stuffed.Absolutely recommended. Friendly staff and pleasant environment.

I give 5 star for this place because I can't fault anything. Firstly, on a very warm autumn day it was a real challenge to find a restaurant in Balatonfured that was open and had free table so it's a bonus already. But otherwise the service was great, fast and polite, the food was very nice. I had tiramisu as a dessert and oh my, it looked and tasted amazing. We could also sit outside which was also nice as the weather was exceptionally warm.
We selected this place based on location as it was close to the resort where we were staying. Location is generally great, on the way to the beach with ample free parking space. The menu is very short but the dishes were delicious. The portions are small, the prices are exorbitantly high considering quality and quantity. There is a good selection of vines and a limited selection of overpriced beers. As for the service, our waiter was apparently insulted by requests like a table in the shade, extra bread and napkins. We attributed this rather to lack of experience than lack of customer focus. In summary, if you want a quite place to grab some quick lunch or dinner en route to/from the lake and money is of no concern and you are a patient customer then this place can be recommended. The rating reflects that we do not exactly fit into these categories.

Ate here 5 nights in a row. One of the best positions smack dab in the middle of Almádi. Viktor the guitarist keeps the 60's and 70's American and Irish folk and soft rock songs coming. Can't love this place enough! Oh, and the ice cream next door is simply the best!

A cozy bistro on one of Hungary's most beautiful lake shore, Tagore Promenade and on the most popular beach, which name is Eszterházy Beach. Original Italian pastas-pizzas, homemade burgers and dishes that you can find in the city only here. We're waiting
We came to Tihany/Balatonfured on the train from Budapest for the day for a "seaside" trip... ended up eating an early dinner here before our train home after a quick look at TA to find something reasonable - nothing to complain about at all. I had pizza, my husband had pasta... very reasonable pricing (can't remember how much exactly but the meal including soft drinks was less than 5000 for two people) ... it was very good! We paid on card without issues. The waiting staff were relatively young and friendly. We sat on the non beach side of the restaurant and commented that it would be quite good if you were at the beach, as you could just come here and eat if you were hungry. It wasn't busy but wasn't empty by the same token - the right level of busy!

We were here for late dinner in May 2018, so the main season was just at the beginning. Not many people in any of the restaurants in Tihany. We have ordered two chicken salads, glass of wine and wheat beer called Edelweis. We get small pizza thingies aside the salads. They were really good, so we wanted to order another portion of them. Waitress said it is not possible. Well, ok, no problem.. though I would think you can be little creative if guest asks for something you don´t have on the menu... Another problem was when we ordered another pair of drinks. Waitress brought us normal Soproni beer in Edelweiss glass. My friend said it is not Edelweiss, waitress said "Oh my god" and rolled her eyes. OK, sorry for being so rude to be a guest who knows the difference between beer and beer :/ She brought the right beer and since that moment no one came to our table to ask if we want to order anything else. Only when I wanted to pay, another waitress came.It was really bad experience. I know the season is just beginning, you do not have many guests, which may made you a bit nervous, but ... hey, your guests are bringing your salary in their wallet.

We stayed at the hotel Aqua, we didnât realise the hotel had full board so we looked for places nearby. We called and booked a place and we spoke to Mattias/Matues in perfect English. The food was amazing. The starter of foie with rillette was the best foie dish I have ever had. Seriously. Followed by the quail with ducks liver. The wine, Janus, was great. Plus the dessert of cheese balls and creams was brilliant.I was so surprised. mattias/matteus (not sure how to spell his name in Hungarian) was great. He explained every dish in Queen Elizabeth perfect English with the accent as well, no idea where he learnt to speak such perfect English but it helped us a lot

We managed to get a reservation last minute. Being a Friday evening we did not wanted to go there unannounced. The service was excellent. We got our drinks in a few minutes, and we got our food in about 20 minutes and we were 10 people. The food in so many words was perfect. We also had desert, which was very delicious. I also had coffee, unfortunately they did not have lactose free milk, thus I could not have my latte machiatto, my favorite type of coffee as planned, only a plain espresso. The ambiance was very nice, I liked it very much. There was some music or radio in the background, but it was not too loud, thus we were able to speak with each other. I certainly recommend to try out this restaurant for it's exquisite food and great and friendly service for a reasonable price, although if you are lactose intolerant you will have to choose carefully from the dishes in order to comply with your diet.
