Reviews on American food in La Colonia Tovar, Central Region, Venezuela. Colonia Tovar (English: Tovar Colony) is a town of Venezuela, capital of the municipality Tovar in Aragua state. Founded in 1843 by a group of immigrants from the then independent state of the Grand Duchy of Baden (later incorporated into Germany), it is characterized by the maintenance of the cultural imprint of their origin, so it is called "the Germany of the Caribbean". The economy depends primarily on agriculture and tourism; and the town is located 42 km (26 mi) from Caracas. The Colonia is known for its temperate crops (peaches, strawberries, beets, cauliflower, carrots, cabbage, chard, broccoli, lettuce, onions and potatoes) and their derivatives. Since 1990 it has shown a high rate of population growth, rising from 3,373 to 21,000 inhabitants in 2016.

The prices are a little high and the food was okay, nothing too special. The atmosphere is very "american"...burgers fries that kind of thing. If you're a tourist and want to experience Venezuela it's not an ideal stop. If you're a local who wants to grab a drink with a friend then I would say its not bad.

En tarde puedes comer Hamburguesas, Pizzas, tomar un refresco, cerveza o cocteles, y el la noche puedes ir a rumbear, si vas de rumba te recomiendo ir a partir de las 10 u 11 PM ya que si vas antes no va a haber mucho ambiente y pocas personas, no vayas con short, gorra o en franela. En las noches generalmente trabajan con servicio de bebidas.

Decidà visitar a Mr Wood, lamentablemente, no fue la experiencia que esperaba.Al llegar el talento humano no estuvo atento a saber cuántos éramos para poder ubicarnos lo más pronto posibles. Al ordenar nos decidimos por los wafles tanto para comida como postre; su sabor no fue el esperado y al conversar con el personal su respuesta fue deficiente. Al final preferimos retirarnos.El lugar posee una decoración muy hermosa, espero que puedan superar los detalles.

Visitar Berry House en encontrar ese oasis en el este de la ciudad.Su amplia variedad de helados, sandwichs, tortas y postres hacen que siempre añores repetir la visita. Su mayor atributo es la calidad de sus ingredientes o productos y la energÃa que contagia la reconocida respostera Andrea Addario, mejor conocida como Andrea Cup Cake.
