Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Kampala. Near the banks of Lake Victoria, Kampala, the capital of Uganda, is a lively city with a long history. Before the British, the city was the capital of the Buganda Kingdom, and remains so to this day. The city sits on several hills, each housing an important government or religious building. Kasubi Hill is the home of the Kasubi Tombs, a sacred burial ground of Buganda Kings. The Uganda Museum sits atop Kololo Hill, and features a hands-on collection of traditional musical instruments.

If you want wonderful Lebanese food in a great atmosphere, definitely come here! They have expanded their menu in recent months, and their food is absolutely delicious. You can't really go wrong with anything that you order! I always look forward to dining here.

Excellent restaurant right opposite the entrance of Acacia mall. Having lived in the Middle East for the past 20 years, I can vouch for the authenticity of their Shawarma, Manakish, Humus, Saj bread and Garlic Cream. A must visit- even though they really don't have the entire vast range of Lebanese food, but one can satisfy the craving for Lebanese food with what they have. Quite reasonably priced.

This restaurant would get high rates even if it was in Italy.. It is therefore easy to me say that it's the best place I found in Kampala. Food is amazing, and amazingly prepared with local ingredients and local people. Staff is great and everything is set up in order to make you fell comfortable like at home. I spent there hours working/eating/drinking while having lovely chat with staff/owners. Let them guide you through the latest ideas they had or new tastes; or get the good-old-fashioned Italian style while sipping a glass of goof wine..

It was a great surprise to find authentic Greek food in Kampala. Portions are ok, I recommend meze and fried cheese- itâs delicious. Interior truly reminded me Greece or Cyprus. They have a big parking lot and quite location- comfortable place for business or family dinner or lunch. Prices are average, I can say it was a great cost for very yummy food. Will go there again for sure.Only one friendly advise, I couldnât find in your menu dolma with grape leaves, please consider it for your menu. Thanks in advance Thank you, MTolik! The food was amazing and came out promptly, and the staff were very accommodating of our walk in party of ten people. It was a friend's birthday and the service staff even let us order a dessert past their last call. Definitely worth coming back.

Very good food. Only exception for the pizza as I didn't like the mozzarella cheese they are using ..
