Reviews on Bar food in Kampala, Central Region, Uganda. Near the banks of Lake Victoria, Kampala, the capital of Uganda, is a lively city with a long history. Before the British, the city was the capital of the Buganda Kingdom, and remains so to this day. The city sits on several hills, each housing an important government or religious building. Kasubi Hill is the home of the Kasubi Tombs, a sacred burial ground of Buganda Kings. The Uganda Museum sits atop Kololo Hill, and features a hands-on collection of traditional musical instruments.

Great food although wouldnât suggest ordering their cheesecake as it tasted like plastic. Great staff and service and setting. Many thanks for your candid feedback. I am sorry about your experience with Cheesecake. I have discussed this issue with our Chef and agreed to change our recipe to avoid such problem. Apologies for the same once again.Hope to see you soon.KR,MeenaMD

"Biryani House" specializes in elevating the dining experience of customers by tantalizing their taste buds with mouth-watering cuisines such as "DUM BIRYANI" which is a century old recipe, taking more than two hours to prepare along with grilled Tandoor
Why is a beautiful restaurant in the centre of Kampala in such beautiful surroundings empty? The reason is that it's a mediocre restaurant with poor service, dirty environment and unexciting food. The whole place looks unloved, like the owner has not been there for a while and has left it in the hands of underpaid staff who don't give a $^*@ about it. It could be fantastic if they got the food and service right. The building itself is lovely but it has the feeling of a place past its best, maybe had a prestigious past but a miserable present and perhaps a non-existant future. If I were te owner I would be very worried that such a big restaurant in such beautiful setting was almost empty of diners. Why not at least clean the place a bit. there are staff hanging aorund doig nothing - pick up a broom and get sweeping!

Kampalas best Cocktailbar & Nightclub. Located in Kololo, on Acacia Avenue, you can choose from more than 70 international cocktails "as they should be"
A very nice place for some after work drinks. Good that music is kept on a level so one can have a dialogue without shouting. Good parking. Good service. Could beers.

ARENA: Sports Bar & Grill is the premier place to watch all of your favorite sports and also the first activity bar in KLA - darts, board games, activities
Came in to watch a football game. The service was great. They refilled our glasses quickly and checked in often. The guest wifi was down when we went, so they allowed us to log into their employee wifi service. They try to make sure you have as for of a time as possible.Thank you very much Peter for your review and sharing your experience at Arena. You can also check all our coming events on our FaceBook. We will be happy to welcome you again ;) We wish you a Happy New Year 2019.

Been here twice in the last month. Order something different each time. Both times I was happy. Even the clear vegetable soup was delicious that my partner had. Service is good. They can get very busy but we were only overlooked after we had finished our meal. Hunting a service staff to get the bill was still not a big deal. Ambiance is nice outside. Definitely will be back.

I had lunch at this restaurant every weekday for three months and it is perfect. Faze 2 has a great choice and staff is friendly. The kitchens are open, split by sort (pork, beef, fish, tandoori) and extremely clean. Their salads are the best (and safest)
We came here for a business lunch. The place had local guests as well expats and many of Indian. They serve typical Indian food, that we liked. I appreciated the fried vegetarian rise. The service was a but slow, but the restaurant was crowded. Personnel was kind and helpful

The Great Indian Dhaba gives you cuisines from all over India. We serve North Indian, South Indian and Street Foods of India. Designed to look like a 'dhaba': a roadside restaurant on the highways of India frequented by truck drivers and travelers. The de
A desire to have South Indian cuisine and Indian street food prompted us to visit this establishment. The restaurant has a secure parking area and we parked as advised. The staff directed us to a table of our choice. We were a little worried when we realized that two large parties were already underway and normally this would compromise service to the other patrons but we were wrong. The Manager and staff were exceptional. Our menus came, orders were taken and meals arrived quickly and well made.Despite a varied selection, food was excellent,we could not fault anything.South Indian thali simply exceptional, chicken tikka Masala with butter nan, fantastic. The Pau bhaji was well made and presented. The accompaniments and papadums very nice.Overall,it was an exceptional evening with very good food. Thanks for your visit Mr Ashraf and writing a review for us. Your words do matter for us and support the team for their efforts to make your dining experience memorable. We wait for your next visit and hope it will soon.

The bistro is in the top 5 for good reason.Setting is lovely, very fashionable.Staff are very friendly possibly if anything too attentive.Nice selection on the menu.I picked 2 starters,Chicken satay 17000ugxBruschetta 16000ugxSatay sauce was lovely, chicken if I were to guess Iâd say itâs thigh, bit chewy and fatty but nice starter.Bruschetta was delicious, really nice. Say no more.Main meal, I ordered the steak flatbread 27000ugxIt was cooked to perfection, base was nice and crisp.Steak was lovely onions were beautiful. My only disappointment was the price of water, Iâve eaten in 15 restaurants in Kampala in the last 10days and here was the most expensive 4500ugx per small bottleOther than the expensive water this I would consider to be top3 restaurants Iâve eaten in Kampala and definitely worthy of the position it has if not higher.
