Nagarkot is a former Village Development Committee located 32 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati Zone and as of 2015 part of Nagarkot Municipality. At the time of the 2011 census it had a population of 4571 and had 973 houses in it. At an elevation of 2,195 meters, it is considered one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur District. It is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley. The scenic beauty of the place makes it a very popular hiking route for tourists. It is located approximately 7000 ft (2000 m) above sea level and 28 km from Kathmandu International Airport.

Not fast food but certainly food worth the wait. Beautiful views over pottery square. Had dinner and lunch. Mix of Nepali and western dishes, all very tasty. Food is very well priced, I attacked the menu like tapas, a bit of this, a bit of that. Very friendly staff.

Overlooking the front steps up to the Nyatapola Temple, sit on the top floor balcony for a super view of the square and the Temple, limited menu but the food was quite good, v reasonably priced.I would recommend.

The coffee was good and served well with water and a sweet for a remarkably low price. This place sits in Dattatreya Square where there is a temple of the same name. The shop has clean toilets.

Our visit to Bhaktapur was made very comfortable by our stay in Cafe Beyond. Comfortable beds, clean rooms andattentive western styled service was a nice change from our recent stays around the area. Both Korean and western food were delicious, as well as a decent made coffee. Highly recommend if you come for a visit to Bhaktapur.

Staying in Vajra-Guesthouse we spent a lot of time in the coffe-bar. Freshly prepared coffee, made with passion and the love for the taste of coffe-specialities this is a pearl within Bakhtapur . We loved the cappucino in combination with chocolate-brownie after returning from Sagarmatha-National-Park. If you are around sit down in front of the guest house, enjoy your favourite coffee and a view on the temple - or have it served on the roof-top of the hotel.

We met friends here for dinner. I had the traditional Nepalese dahl baht meal which was very good. The local yogurt is very creamy and you have to try it. Service was good.
