Garuda bar is definitely my favorite place.I have spent many summers in this beautiful and clean hotel. And last July I also spent every night at this incredible rooftop bar with the most amazing view in Bhaktapur. From this very elegant and top design rooftop bar, you can sip at a tasty cocktails while beholding with the Skyview at the most beautiful city in Nepal. The mountain rages facing you, the local market is just under your eyes and the most beautiful five proofs temple on Taumadi Square is right in front of you.Staff is extremely friendly and efficient. They will help you out with anything you need and also tell you about what to do in the city and outside. The bar serves a rich variety of traditional as well as international cuisine. The two brothers who run the police are super cool. Everyone speaks English and it's a nice place to relax with your lover, or meet people from all over the world if you're alone and want to exchange ideas, philosophies, music tastes and art projects.I am very grateful I have found this place.I recommend it 100% and I can't wait to be back next year ;)

Our visit to Bhaktapur was made very comfortable by our stay in Cafe Beyond. Comfortable beds, clean rooms andattentive western styled service was a nice change from our recent stays around the area. Both Korean and western food were delicious, as well as a decent made coffee. Highly recommend if you come for a visit to Bhaktapur.

Freshpresso coffee bar is located in the heart of bhaktapur, serving varieties of espresso beverage and several other drinks.
Staying in Vajra-Guesthouse we spent a lot of time in the coffe-bar. Freshly prepared coffee, made with passion and the love for the taste of coffe-specialities this is a pearl within Bakhtapur . We loved the cappucino in combination with chocolate-brownie after returning from Sagarmatha-National-Park. If you are around sit down in front of the guest house, enjoy your favourite coffee and a view on the temple - or have it served on the roof-top of the hotel.

Charming courtyard, very friendly and helpful staff, but most importantly fresh made and tasty food. Be sure to try their tomato soup which is made with fresh tomatos, not canned or paste. I actually went back the night before leaving Bakhtapur just to have it again. They make their food using fresh local ingredients, and try to accommodate any adjustments a customer may ask for.

What to do and see in Nagarkot, Nepal: The Best Places and Tips
We were only on a day trip so this is the place to see the view of the mountain range. It was very enjoyable. There was a nice verandah and we could sit outside to enjoy the mountain view. We had to wait close to an hour to get our food because there was no electricity. We were the only ones in the Restaurant. However since we were in a nice environment we did not really mind. The food is a range of continental home Favourites, Indian food and Nepali food. Food was good. I ordered the Nepali set and that was too much food. The waiter should have told me it was good two as it came with chicken curry, daal, vegetables curry, vegetables and pappadrdums. And desert! It was very good. Another member of our party had the crepes made out of buckwheat And that was also our of the world. The masala tea was the best I had in Nepal because they put nutmeg inside. Service was so-so only though - of course the key is the one hour wait. The guy who recommended said that most people call beforehand.

Like many people, we went her as part of a helicopter trip over the Everest Massif. The location is stunning, and breakfast was freshly cooked, and good, without being special. Then things unwound rather. We were presented with a bill, despite having paid in advance as part of our trip. The waiter went off and returned with his mate, who insisted we would have to pay, and reclaim it from our travel agent. We eventually persuaded him to call our agent himself. While he was on the phone, a third member of staff turned up, and told them (and us) that everything was fine, and no further payment was needed. Left a sour taste in the mouth. I needed to use the toilet. Although it is attached to a 4 star hotel, the cafe customers have no access to those facilities, and are instead directed to an unseated and rather primitive block outside the front door. From the smell of the place it had not been cleaned for a few months. At £30 per head for breakfast, I did expect better.
