It was very quiet when we were there early December. The restaurant is peaceful and nicely decorated and service is professional. We found it a little expensive for what was served. We had the cataplana for 2 (â¬32) which was recommended but it really wasn't enough food and we are not big eaters! Too much sauce and not enough substance. Having said that the flavours were good. Possibly trying too hard and not quite getting the balance right. We would like to come back when they have found their feet - I think there is promise of being a very good eatery in a lovely setting.

This restaurant is cozy and inviting with a fireplace, plants and friendly service. Our meal was abundant, and we were introduced to some new tastes- particularly on the sausage & cheese starter platter. A great place for a pleasant and ample family lunch.

We had a very interesting salad with mellon and ham. The main dish was a but dry (partridge). we asked for it because we knew we would get something typical from the region.Service is fast but could be "nicer".Music selection is at spanish style. Maybe to be revised.Decoration is warm and cosy. Very interesting.Toillets were clean.

After ordering we asked for our cold water when 15 minutes had past. We where very thirsty. The still water came and was warm. The otherwise execlent wine of Ribeiro Santo was warm as well. Not out of the fridge. Who does nog know that it should be chilled? We ordered meat on a hot stone for three persons. It came for two. Nobody noticed and the stone was look warm. The meat could not be grilled at this temperature. We asked for new stoned and the came look warm as wel. What a horible birthday party with invited friends. We where so ashamed towards our friends. We wo´nt book again.
