Traveling through to Alentejo we passed through Castelo Branco. The place seemed dead on a Saturday around 13.00-ish. But Hamburgeria da Baixa was open with people outside on the terrace. The burgers they service are coming in great varieties, lots of creativity. The place is nice, allowance to draw on the toilet doors, making your mark. Negative was the loud music, which style we really didn't like. We didn't complain, but ate great burgers.

Lovely small restaurant in the center of Castello Branco. They only serve hamburgers but they are homemade and tasted very good. Loved the burger with local cheese on top. Friendly staff and very helpfull with translating the Portugese menu. Would definitely go again when we come back in Castello Branco.

Burger King â Castelo Branco.When we arrived in the city of Castelo Branco it was almost noon, so the time to have a quick bite before we could start our short visit of the city, this before continuing our trip to Spain. So we took the advantage of the âForum Shopping Centreâ and went to the Burger King to have our lunch. The service is ok and friendly, it is on the first floor of the shopping. We enjoyed our meal and our short stay.

Nous faisions un long trajet vers le nord du Portugal et nous sommes arrêtés à Castelo Branco pour faire une pause. Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant/café/fast-food. Il n'y a aucune mesure à avoir : ce lieu est scandaleux, infâme, immonde. Nous avons commandé un hamburger et 2 plats de pasteis de morue. Tout est industriel et on ne s'en cache pas, tant mieux. Mais ce qui était censé être de la viande de boeuf était une espèce de pâte immonde, un ersatz de viande bas prix au goût de pâtée pour chien. Les beignets étaient insipides, le riz pareil. Et tout cela au prix fort, avec un service absent et un personnel pas du tout concerné. Ce lieu doit fermer, point barre.
