Highly recommend! Located in a local area, might be a little bit of a walk but absolutely worth it! Very cute inside and has a good size patio. The owners are very friendly, and our service was great! We loved everything we ordered - but 2 items really stood out to me - the gazpacho soup, packed with flavor and super refreshing, and the tuna steak - absolutely phenomenal! Very fresh tuna, simply cooked and so delicious! Melts in your mouth! I'm usually very picky about my tuna, and I was very impressed with this one - highly recommend! It also comes with 2 pieces, so would be good to share. Portions are a good size, so 2 soups, 1 board or a cold plate, and 1 hot plate is plenty of food for 2 people.

Taxi driver recommended this place from his neighborhood, nowhere near where we were staying. After my initial trepidation we gave it a try. Had a fantastic server (Helder) who was eager to help us interpret the menu and his recommendations were spot on. This is a secret gem away from the tourist district where local families dine. The quality dining experience is at least half the price of other popular alternatives. All 7 In our party were at least as impressed as I was. Highly recommend.

A small and very cosy restaurant, just 1 mile from Lisbon (<10 min from Ibis Hotel and Lisbon camping), which Iâve been more than 5 times and⦠Iâll be back for sure!In few words, this is what we get: - High quality food (Portuguese traditional, fresh fish & seafood and meat - including grill) - Excellent value for money - Very clean and lightly - Great place to watch matches (private channels Sport TV / Benfica TV) - Good service levelThe manager -Mr. Tony???- is very focus and kind, he is always there when you need! I do recommend (business, family, friends or even alone). Credit cards accepted.

This is a very small restaurant run by a lovely kind couple that clearly loves what they do. The lady was the wine connoisseur. We decided to accompany our lunch with wine by the glass. She will make recommendations and let you taste before choosing. We had Douro Colinas do Douro, with our sardines, which were wonderful, Mare & Corvus with sausages and linguica, which were served with mango; the dish was very good, and others with our main dishes. Out of the way but worth a visit.

We are here whilst staying at the nearby pousada and it is a fantastic neighbourhood restaurant serving good local food. There is an extensive menu, all in Portuguese but one of the waiters kindly translated it for us. When we visited the place was full of local regulars which is always a good sign. There are a number of speciality meat and fish dishes all at very reasonable prices. I don't know how they do it for the money. If you want authentic Portuguese food with a great atmosphere then you will love eating here.

This is a great regional restaurant. The staff is polite. The restaurant is a little bit noisy. Many locals choose this restaurant to dinner or lunch, so, if possible, book first.

Visited this small restaurant, which also has an adjoining cafe, whilst staying at the adjacent Palace Hotel. The staff were excellent and very informative. We shared Tempura prawns as a starter and had the Monkfish and Salmon with Clams as main courses. Neither had any veg with them so we ordered a salad as well. Both meals were very good. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Queluz.

We booked a special family lunch for 12 people. First the decor is just gorgeous! The food was brilliant, traditional food but with a lovely modern twist! Could not fault anything, it was absolutely amazing! Very tasty and beautifully presented from start to finish. We even asked for a special cake to be made for the occasion and that didn't seem to bother them any bit, the cake was amazing!Easily the best restaurant in Portugal.Thank you so much for being so accommodating with everything and for making our day so special. The staff was very attentive and very friendly.

Maria Azeitona is a cozy restaurant located in Amadora center - Rua Alfredo Keil. Warm setting, cozy and informal environment and offering some of the most Portuguese traditional recipes and Portuguese tapas. Join us at lunch or dinner time any day of the
We had dinner here twice during our stay in Amadora. It is easily the best restaurant in the area. The food is basically traditional Portuguese but with some modern variations. All fresh, perfectly cooked and presented.Very good wine list and attentive but not intrusive service. We had a 3 course meal - entree, main and dessert with a bottle of good wine and mineral water for 50 Euros all up. Excellent value. They open at 7pm but it tends to get very busy after 8pm so try to get there at 7 to beat the crowd.
