I visited this restaurant with my parents and 16 month old son for an evening meal. As soon as we stepped inside we knew that we were going to enjoy a special evening.The restaurant is decorated with wonderful photographs, paintings and the fronts of wine boxes. It has the sort of ambience that would suit a variety of occasions.The staff were incredibly helpful. My mother and I don't speak Portuguese, and they really helped us to understand the menu, and even showed us a selection of puddings before we ordered!My 16 month old baby boy was made very welcome. The Portuguese have such a warm and relaxed attitude to children in restaurants.Our main course was absolutely delicious. Slow cooked pork stuffed with oregano. The side dishes were also cooked to perfection. My little boy couldn't eat enough of the chips and he enjoyed the onion from the salad as well as the pork!I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, and the hope that the business prospers.Thanks you Very musch

Took 1h to get the food. Don't even bother to enter if you see many cars parked outside and you don't have 1h to wait... Food was regular.

Pombal has a cluster of supermarkets and nearby is this good restaurant. Once in the doors the welcome is good and the service friendly and efficient. The restaurant soon filled up when we were there for lunch and it was locals rather than tourists who were eating there.The menu has reasonable choice and the food is good ~ we enjoyed it very much.This was a mid-week lunch when out shopping. Functional yet also enjoyable, a great break in a busy day. We'll go again next time in the Intermarche!

Perfect again for another visit one week ago .Yet another excellent Fillet steak on a hot stone and cook it yourself the way you like it .. we have not found any steak restaurant in Portugal with steaks that are as perfect as at Pedro's Restaurant every time .. Hence going again tomorrow ... and well worth the 35 minute drive for us to get there ..

Very good food, at an affordable price. Don't count on asking for a menu, their main specialty is "leitão, leitão, and more leitão." Even with only one main specialty you will come out of there with a full belly. It's a food feast in there.

We ate here 2 days ago at lunchtime. The restaurant is very well appointed in a traditional way. A very good choice of daily dishes at a reasonable price. We both ate Linguado ( sole) with potatoes and Portuguese vegetables accompanied with a 1/2 litre of house white wine. Everything was excellent and all at a cost of 15 euros for 2. Can't be bad as prices are generally going up in Portugal. Parking is a little restricted and on road parking may be necessary.

Great place to have lunch in between Lisbon and Coimbra or Oporto. We can choose the snack area, faster and cheaper or the restaurante area to more relaxed lunch/dinner.The star of the house is the tomato rice.

Nice restaurant with Very accommodating staff- they have English menus and explained it very well to our table of 10! We got a selection of startersFor the table and then steaks for our mains- all cooked perfectly to our order! Very reasonable pricing too!
