It hasn't been long since I've arrived from Rome and I cannot spare complements to the pizzaiollo who managed to bring me back to the great Italian pizzas I was fortunate to try whilst in Rome. The dough was light and thin as it should be, very generous with the obviously fresh ingredients, the wine pairing suggestion was spot on and even though we had arrived close to closing time these people still accommodated us with a smile and service not commonly seen down south where I'm from. FIVE STARS!!!
We are a restraurante dedicated to pork and beef grills. We also offer a variety of appetizers of Portuguese tradition, such as Octopus Salad, Pork Ear Salad, horse mackerel in pickle sauce, cooked rump bones, stewed chicken gizzards, homemade desserts su
This very unassuming restaurant has my heart. The vibe was fun and so welcoming and the food was even better. We had no idea where we were going but somehow found ourselves immersed in Portuguese laughter and festivities here at Tasca da Linha do Oeste. It is a hidden gem and would definitely recommend it. Take lots of people if you can - such a fun and deliciously homey yet great place.

This is an excellent find. The little wooden cabin on the beach barely looks fit to serve first class meals, but that's exactly what you find within. The varied menu offers typical Portuguese fare at very reasonable prices. The house wine is competitively priced and excellent quality. On a quiet Tuesday, the restaurant was full for lunch, so worth making a booking if you're travelling from any distance to eat there.

I have been in this restaurant several times, either with my husband or in large group lunches and quality is always the same - top! During cold months, a nice fireplace is always lit. Plenty of place for parking, great ambiance, a wide choice to please every palate with high quality products. Friendly staff. I recommend Prawns with curry, grilled sea bass, "Posta à mirandesa", and the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.

The name change didnât do any good. The âpicanhaâ was a regular steak, with not so good sweet potato. The waiter seemeed to suffer from Alzheimer as he didnât remember anything unless we asked twice for it.Even the coffee was passable. All in all, not worth the price.

The ideal place for families, groups and businesses. Three dining rooms. Traditional Portuguese food with a French twist. Several steaks. Seafood. Snacks. Indoor terrace.
to be honest, we weren't expecting much of this restaurant, since our work group made this reservation because there was no other option on a sunday. It all turned out great. I had a "Bife à Tasca Nova" with is a good piece of meat, well cooked with a good look and taste. The vegetable selection could have a twist, but very good anyway. The wine selection is fine.My friends where all happy with the "Bife Na Pedra" and with the octupuss. The manager himself was serving and was very friendly all the way.Desert rocked, a petty gateau with great presentation and good ice cream. The only advice i would give, and that the quality of the meat could be improved and take this restaurant to the next level of excellence. But never mind this detail, i had mine rare and was great anyway. On behalf of the New Tasca team thank you for your evaluation and company. We hoped for you soon.Best regards,Eduardo Carvalho

Starters were ok, Sangria was quite good. We had chiken curry which was extremely salty. The service was sub-par. Good dessert but the worst coffee I had in Portugal
