Absolutely loved coming here for our engagement anniversary last night. Had calamari, halloumi and fried saganaki to start and it was lovely. This was accompanied by free toasted bread which is always a plus. My wife and I both had the fillet steak as our main and it was cooked to perfection! It came with a really fresh salad and good home made chips. Couldn't knock any of the food and the prices were really reasonable. I was too full for dessert but they gave us a free cake each with ice cream. All in all a fab evening and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

we were looking for a restaurant that has "cooked food" as the greeks call it, not the standard taverna fare with only appetizers and grilled meats. Had one of the best moussaka dishes EVER..and I have been eating moussaka for more than 60 years. Individual portions in clay pot!! Table for 11 of us under a giant tree in the middle of some small square. I can go on and on, but other reviewers have already said it all

Traditional Home Made Food cooked with with Local Ingredients. Olive oil, olives, spices, wine,Ouzo,Tsipouro, fruits and many more come from our family farm. It is an experience of proper Greek food.
Like most of the other reviewers we thought we'd give Athena's a go. When we got in we were the only people in the restaurant - unusual as it was 8:30/9pm and most places are packed by then! The server was lovely and was really trying her best. When we got the menus there really wasn't much in the way of explanation of what dish was what. My partner ordered a pork dish which was nice and I the tuna salad, it came fairly quickly. I was a little disappointed with the tuna, the leaves were wilted and sorry, and the tuna looked like it was directly out of a tin! At least make some effort, this was the most expensive meal we've had in the area. â¬8 for half a lit. of rosé wine - when all your competitors are selling it at â¬5 - â¬6,50!! Overall I would only recommend if you've been everywhere else first.

We visit this restaurant twice for dinner. The sea view is excellent (for the best tables youâll need a reservation). Amazing food â I ate an excellent fish soup, the tasty fresh fish dishes (dorado, tuna, salmon) have some specific differences with the ordinary Greek tavern fish dishes. Good wine list. Very friendly service with real care for customers. For me Thalassa is the best restaurant in Scala Fourkas, though in the vicinity there are another two very nice fish restaurants.

We dined here a few times during the fortnight. The staff were lovely and the evening meals were tasty, big portions. By far the best full English breakfast around. Itâs massive and includes tea/coffee and fruit juice which the other restaurants donât include in the price. This is where Cosmorent is if you wish to hire a car but book online as itâll save you â¬10 per day on a category B car. The live music is also good and the lady at the entrance is just adorable. So warm and friendly. Would highly recommend eating here. Dear treaclecheggs- It's always a great pleasure for me and all the members of staff at The âAKROPOLISâ Restaurant to read positive reviews like the one you so kindly posted on TripAdvisor. I am so delighted that you were greeted by smiling staff and enjoyed your visit from start to finish and enjoyed your dining experience, the atmosphere, food, dancing to the Sirtaki Music, smashing plates - I do hope you will get to visit us again and looking forward to be on your service in the near future.Kind Regards and Best wishes from:Sakis & Margareta Manolas and from all the hardworking team at The âAKROPOLISâ Restaurant in Kriopigi

We visited Sto Kyma this evening for dinner and we very impressed. The reason for choosing this restaurant was due to the reviews on trip advisor, we are staying in Sani and made the trip to Siviri for a change of scene. The service in this restaurant is superb, the best service in fact in the whole of Greece. The whole team are welcoming, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The food is good too. If you are in the area or planning to visit the area then you have to visit Sto Kyma - exceptional service

Eating well is not unusual for the beach tavernas in Fourka and Possidi. Having excellent fish and seafood is also common to all of them. What makes Anassa special is the quality of their cooking, as well as their position over the sea. The service is also much better than what one gets in the area. And the rices are at least 10% higher.

We stumbled across this taverna after visiting Posidi Cape....it was a late lunch but it was well worth the stop. The food as sooooo good, cheap and the service excellent. We were also given a yummy homemade dessert at no extra charge....and that was so tasty.

Staff is very friendly and the service is efficient. This restaurant is right by the sea and the view of the sunset is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We would definitely visit this restaurant again. To finish our meal the restaurant brought us a complimentary ice-cream at the end. Our group of six ordered the following: tarama, eggplant dip, sea-horta, beetroot, mussel saganaki and prawn saganaki, grilled octopus, fried calamari, sardines and chips.
