This place has a really nice medieval atmosphere. The food is nice, the price is reasonable and the staff is very nice. The communication is difficult in English, but everything went well.If you sit outside, you can see the fort on the top of the hill!

We visited this to refuel after a workout on the bob sleigh/bob sled run. The breathtaking views of the River Danube and autumn-clad hills hit you from the off. On entry the staff are very nice and appropriately on-hand. The food is good enough and priced fairly enough, despite the tourist-hotpot location.
If you want to eat large portion of regular or Hungarian dishes, for a good price, Nokedli is definitely your place. Nokedli is the interesting mixture of a quality canteen and a restaurant. Eat your food here or takeaway. Next to international dishes, yo
Classic cookshop in the charming city offering traditional Hungarian food, like beef or stripe stew, fishermen soup - just at weekends - or bean soup. The food is great and tastes like at home. Of course a bit greasy, but how cares if it is savory?! The service is great. You can order and pay at the counter. They accept credit card :-)

Hard to say much about this restaurant besides that the staff was less than friendly, the gents who served us were not overly friendly but at least they were not rude like the female server, simply not acceptable. Food was good enough and a healthy selection was offered.

This place is temporarily closed due to renovation. It will reopen in March 15.
It'd be hard to beat the location of this place - next to a great river, with views over the castle of Visegrad and directly overlooking the ferry service. It's good for people watching or just having a quiet lunch. The food was delicious, the fishermen's soup absolutely superb. Also, love the desserts here - the somloi is enormous, so beware. Service quick, efficient and courteous.

Our restaurant was designed with the intention of letting the guests feel as if they were dining in the open air. The light that comes through the glass walls and roof, the unparalleled view of the Danube-bend and the plentiful green foliage create an exc
Excellent steak and tiramisu. View over the valley was superb. Others in my group also enjoyed their meals. Our server Bianka was very attentive and fast to serve drinks. Will visit again in the future. Dear LP9225,Many thanks for sharing your praising feedback regarding your recent meal with us at Hotel Silvanus Panorama Restaurant. It was great to read that you highlighted both the location of our restaurant top of the mountain, and our home made style cuisine. Please allow me to thank you as well for your recognition of our Bianka for her efforts in making you feel pampered and special. Dear guests! Our restaurant was established in spring 2007 with the aim of creating a sophisticated restaurant and hostel in Visegrád for domestic and foreign guests. The entire staff of our restaurant strives to provide top performance in the hospitality
We visited this restaurant as part of a cycle tour along the Danube. The location is fantastic, right on the river although we visited when there was a storm threatened so all the plastic sides were deployed. After such great reviews on trip advisor, we were slightly disappointed. The food was OK, and the staff were also OK, but nothing spectacular. I would say that the restaurant was very good value for money, so that is a definite positive. Overall, worth a visit but I suspect Visegrad may have better to offer? Our dear guest! We would like to thank you for the positive words in your opinion. We are sorry to note that you have given us a rating of 3 because of the weather conditions. The restaurant staff should be more attentive to the weather conditions as there may be a major storm within minutes in our area which may cause discomfort. At such times, we invite our guests to our indoor garden where they can comfortably and safely enjoy their drinks and meals. The side closure of the tarpaulin is also important in this case to protect against rain. All of the valuation and the time spent with us were pleasantly experienced, but we do not think it reflects the fair value of the valuation. We look forward to welcoming you next time, hoping for a more pleasant weather.Best regards:András Visnyovszkymanager
