Great, modern restaurant which serves yummi dishes by smily and attentive staff. I liked doing lunch by the small pool on the large terrace overlooking green hills of Zagorje. I was delighted with baked strukli, risotto with mushrooms, tender veil with sauteed veggies and imaginative cakes. The staff are great, attentive and serves with a style.

This little restaurant offers a variety of delicious local specialities. They have a pretty terrace with a beautiful representation of the map of Zagorje. I would highly reccomend the spare ribs with potato wedges. Also, they make homemade bread which is just heavenly! It is worth to spend every penny.
Near the Krapina Neanderthal Museum, a pleasant place in the nature with authentically Zagorje cuisine, where you can taste homemade pasta, gnocchi and many other domestic dishes. Have you ever heard of Å trukli or Gibanica from Zagorje?
I was here with a group, we ordered a menu in advance, it sounded good but when we arrived it was uneatabe, small piece of chicken breasts and a bowl of overcooked rice, totally disgusting, avoid this place !!

To understand Presa is to understand a little more of the Zagorje region above Zagreb in Croatia. People are friendly, enjoy witticisms and are welcoming to guests at their establishment. We visited in mid-Winter for lunch, not the high tourist season, so yes there was a relatively empty restaurant however this did not detract from the level and quantity of food as well as the great service of the staff. In the Spring and Summer this must be a wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy the view from.Presa is generous with portions, especially the soup as an appetizer, nothing fancy but something which you shouldnt miss. We followed with Zagrebacki Odrezak and the classic cevapi, and we were not disappointed!Sides of shopska salata, sveza salata, przeni krompir rounded off a very nice meal. This is not a Michelin star restaurant so please dont expect it to be. What Zagorje does well is serve traditional "country" style, homemade food with the pride and Presa delivers this in spades.

It was my first time there and I was greatly disappointed. I couldn't help feeling the owners wanted to cash in on their MIchelin rating by going well over the restaurant capacity. The landscape and the surroundings were really fantastic, but the restaurant had some issues, even though I had booked far in advance, some three weeks before:- we were seated in an exposed glass room with no air conditioning in June in Croatia. Very uncomfortable.- there were too many tables; I had to ask the guests at the neighboring table to move when I went to the toilet, since our chairs were literally touching; the waitress kept asking us to pass her the plates and help clear the table because she could reach only the head of the table- an order was forgotten (soup) and the main meals were put on two large plates; we wanted 1 veal, 2 ducks and 4 turkeys and got a mix of pieces on the plate, not the 1:2:4 ratio we had ordered- the price was, of course, as if the service had been pure perfectionAll in all, too bad, since the place has infinite potential and, as I hear, it once was really fantastic. We won't go back there again.
