This is a family restaurant and they are always available to give you good tips. We had dinner three times in five days and, every time we have tried different food ( meat, fish and pasta) all of them were very good and tasty. They also have a good list of Argentine wines, besides that, do not forget to ask for dessert.

i still remember our first visit 3 yrs ago. the quality of the food is still the same, simply outstanding. prices went up a little, but what can you do with this crazy inflation. time to introduce michelin stars in argentina, this restaurant really deserves at least one if not two. i tried 3 different main courses and 2 appetizers and postres, i won't say anything more here, just try it yourself, you won't regret it. i was very pleased that (according to trip advisor) this is now the number 1 restaurant in cordoba. i would even go one step further, it is one of my favorite restaurants in argentina! as i am back at least once a year i can keep you updated if they can keep the high standards!a special compliment also to our excellent waiter from gummersbach, germany. impresionante!!!

We came to Alta Gracia for the day and came to Herencia for lunch off the back of a recommendation from a friend in Cordoba.Food is delicious- fine dining yet really affordable. We had starters and main each and paid £25 in total. Great service, beautiful building and definitely recommend.

We went to Prosit twice and had delicious food both times. Theres a mix of traditional Argentinian and German good. One of the owners, Santi, was super super friendly and took us out to explore around La Cumbrecita during his day off. Good selection of delicious beers too. BIG THUMBS UP!

The service here was amazing...waitress knew every ingredient to every dish we asked about and was very attentive. They even served our imported beer in chilled glasses and gave us a white wine bucket of ice to keep the rest of it cold. The food is much more interesting than your average restaurant and you can tell the chef takes pride in his menu. We recommend this place as do others.

We arranged for the La Colina restaurant to pick us up from our hotel. The big yellow SUV arrived and from then til when they dropped us off later that evening we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was wonderful, the view was great and of course the food was superb. This is family business and we were very impressed with the quality.

2 Fully equipped houses, within a forest, next to the San Javier stream, at the foot of the Champaquà hill - Córdoba - Creative bites restaurant, plus craft beer.
We stayed a week in one of the two houses for rent and enjoyed a tasty picada and cold beers in the restaurant. The little house is built into the rocky shore of the stream that runs along the lovely property, a 30 minute walk from the plaza. Highly recommended. Muchas gracias Chris y Sra. por vuestra visita y comentario, los esperamos cuando gusten, atte. Mazzacco, Andrés

In general, I feel that Tripadvisor suffers from "grade inflation." People give out 4s and 5s rather precipitously. Statistically speaking, most restaurants should receive 3 stars, with a some 2s and 4s and a few 1s and 5s. The standard bell curve. But that doesn't seem to be the case on Tripadvisor, where 4s and 5s seem to predominate. So I tend to be a bit skeptical of the high ratings often found here.In this case, all the five-star ratings for Papagayo are richly deserved. It's rare that a restaurant surprises me, and Papagayo did. We were served some truly innovative dishes, such as the briefly cooked egg served in its own shell with arrope de chañar and cream. I've never had anything quite like it. Other dishes connected the flavors of many different cultural traditions without veering off into "fusion" cuisine. Some of dishes were interesting takes on standards. The sofrito de calamar y chorizo español was an interesting update to traditional Portuguese grilled octopus and chorizo. The solomillo a las brasas felt inspired by American pork and apples, but was taken to a higher level. Overall, the chefs demonstrated outstanding taste, inventiveness, technical proficiency and a sense of culinary history. The waitstaff was on point, particularly our waiter Agustin, who was exceptionally kind and interesting. Special kudos to the sommelier whose choices were spot on. Leaving aside the food, I would go back just for his wine recommendations. All in all, a total success. My wife and I are living in Córdoba this year and I look forward to returning to Papagayo frequently.

If you are anywhere near this area then this restaurant is an absolute must. Hands down the best restaurant in Córdoba province, but for us it would be up there with the best that Argentina has to offer, and easily comparable with restaurants of its kind the world over although incredibly reasonably priced to reflect its location. The menu was creative and immaculately presented, with every dish full of flavour and thought. You can literally taste the passion that chef Santiago puts into each creation. The service was gracious and friendly, the location a real hidden gem, and we really felt like we were 'discovering' something truly special (although the restaurant has been open 9 years and we are kicking ourselves that we havn't been before!). We stayed in the posada attached to the restaurant which made for an overall outstanding and uniquely special experience. Do not miss out on this rare find if you are a foody! Thanks for your comment!! We are so happy to read your words!Hope to see you again in Gapasai!
