Don't know why I waited so long to try this place. Excellent bbq. I got the pulled pork and it was delicious. The fries were also different from most places and usually I don't eat many fries, but I ate all of these. Very good. The macaroni and cheese was just average, when I go back I will try a different side. Service was fast and friendly. Such a busy place, but they are great at expediting your service. Would definitely go again.

We recently celebrated our 5th anniversary of our first date which was at this very restaurant. Before making the reservation, I found that they were having a special Pizzolatto Organic Wine Dinner which is their 4 course offering with a different glass of wine paired...MoreThanks Allen for your review, we appreciate it! Good to hear you took advantage of our wine dinner! We will be having another coming up soon...

Have been going to Bill's since I moved here, some 40+ years and it has never been disappointing. Lots of different kinds of donuts from which to choose. Open 24/7 and any time you go, always seems to have a line. Quick service and friendly staff.

Shopping at Dorothy Lane Market is actually fun; exploring interesting foods & beverages...
If I can't find it at Krogers... most likely Dorothy Lane Market has it.
Well organized and staffed with friendly and knowledgeable people, it is a pleasure to shop here. Great wine and beer assortment here.
Quality produce and meats. Check out the cheese section for international gastronomic "candy".
Overall, prices are quite high.
But you will most likely find what you are looking for.. while buying things you were not even looking for at this "friendly upscale market".

Besides being an awesome upscale grocery store, you can dine in their dining area.
Pick your favorite ingredients and artisan bread from the deli and enjoy in a bright setting.
You can also get some sushi at the sushi bar, or an elegant dessert from the bakery.

Delicious offerings to complete your Dorothy Lane Market experience! I love the Ghirardelli Caramel Late. My mother-in-law loves the Peppermint Hot Chocolate. They make the organic peppermint syrup in-house. Delicious!

My husband and I were in the area and in the mood for food out of the ordinary places. We found Nelly's and decided to try it. It was an inspired choice. We had the plantains for an appetizer and they were truly delicious, just right. I had saice and it was wonderful and beyond my expectations. My husband, who is a very picky eater, had the rellenos and told me as he was eating that he was glad I talked him into going there. The restaurant is clean and modern. The food is prepared to order. I am eager to return and try some chicken next time.

We have been in business 10 years - providing the community 100% scratch baking goods. Everything, everything we do is 100% baked from the basic ingredients of pure butter, eggs, cream and milk. We abstain from any shortcuts. Scones made with 100% cream and mixed by hand, Croissants made with European grade butter, French breads with slow 14 hour fermentation - these are but a few of our offerings. We also provide a crisp clean sandwich menu featuring our artisan bread pared with the very best deli vendor: Boar's Head meat and cheese.
My dear sister-in-law had been singing the praises of Boosalis, prior to my recent visit. So, my first eating request was go to this much-loved bakery to sample their treats. My wife, Susan and I are Francophiles and as such are familiar with croissants, baguettes and the rest of the carefully crafted baked goods from France.
My acid test was to inquire of Matt Boosalis (owner/baker) if he made an item known as a Kouign Amman. Shock-jawed, I stood and watched as like a magician, he revealed a tray loaded with these flaky, delicate, crunchy morsels. After the first bite, I was transported to a side street in Paris or perhaps a bustling thoroughfare in Lyon as I munched on Matt's heavenly Kouign Amman!
If you're ever in Centerville, Ohio...or even if you have to drive eight or nine hours to get there...don't miss the amazing French baked goods at Boosalis!

Meadowlark is a chef-owned and operated neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Dayton, Ohio. Our menus feature high-quality ingredients cooked simply but imaginatively with lively, bright-tasting flavors. Our cooking is geared toward the American palate, which means fluffy, buttermilk mashed potatoes, homemade pickles and cornbread, great pancakes at brunch and yes, there will always be a burger on the menu. We also feature meat, fish and vegetarian dishes that employ the flavors and techniques from around the world that we have all come to love. This is contemporary everyday cooking, from scratch, made and served with local pride.
Nice place to have a glass of wine and a meal. The shaved beef sandwich ( like a French Dip) with a crispy bread was good. Tabouli with Sharma Chicken was just the right thing to have. Our wait person was attentive.

Handcrafted for Five Generations Since 1870. Louis and Regina Graeter started handcrafting Graeter's Ice Cream in 1870. Today, generations later, we proudly remain family owned and operated. This is made possible thanks to you, our legion of loyal fans. For a century and a half, Graeter's has remained steadfast in our commitment to making ice cream in 2 gallon French Pots one batch at a time.
We've come to Graeters a couple times a year since they came to Dayton, OH area. Their ice cream is very rich and the Butter Pecan has whole nuts in it. However, we went with some friends for the first time this year and was amazed at how expensive it has become -- my husband and I each had 1 scoop of ice cream in a cup (no toppings or sauce or special cone) and it cost almost $10! I'm glad we only go once in a great while -- we'd go broke otherwise!
