Polonezkoy, meaning Polish Village, is a nice, small village founded by Polish settlers in 1842 and has always been a nice place to run away from the hassle of the big city. There are many guest houses, restaurants and breakfast places in this unspoilt town.
Leonardo is one of the best restaurants in Polonezkoy, owned by an engineer who named the restaurant after his father, Leonardo Dohoda. The nice thing about it is to sit in the garden under the trees, but there is indoor Seating for bad weather as well.
Service is very good, waiters are well trained. I have been here quite a few times and have never
been disappointed in the food. The meat is exceptionally good, you can order any one of them.
Salads and desserts are also very good, always with a touch of something interesting.
The Leonardo salad had pieces of dried tomatoes and orange slices.
Prices are not cheap. But this is almost a gourmet restaurant so this can be expected.
A good idea to have lunch or dinner here and stay in a nearby guesthouse.

We travelled over to Polina from the European side to breakfast with friends who have been coming here for fifteen years. I have to say the food and service were excellent, the surroundings quite lovely, and our children absolutely loved the place, as did we.
Well worth the journey.

Garipce is a little cosy fishing town by the entrance of Black sea region of Istanbul
This typical town is also a home to and antique house which was originally built as bakery in the 1870's
Now serving as a cafe ,it is run by a nice family offering Blacksea specialities
During the weekends you may enjoy the open buffet brunch.

We have been to this famous kebap house together with some business friends from Lebanon who had dined here sometime ago and we followed them with their recommendation.Being at a touristic zone,at the beginning we thought that this kebap house is too touristic place for us,but we were wrong and we were totally surprised with the quality, quantity and taste of the food served here. All was excellent and very delicious. We have cleaned up whatever served at the table very fast.Anyone staying in and around Taksim Hotels Zone must give a try at this very good kebap house
Strongly recommended.

We have been clients of Kalamis Balik a few times now, and I must admit the fact that they begin to remember us makes us feel comfortable and special. Owner and the team are very friendly. Food is tasty and fresh. It is definitely a very good alternative to the restaurants of Fenerbahce, although it does not face the sea, it has a lovely decoration and is just a few steps away from the sea anyway.
Price wise, it is a bit expensive, but I tend to believe that all worthy fish restaurants in Istanbul are expensive.
So, thumbs up, and good luck (It opened just a few months ago).

Nice place for breakfast at the north west side of the anatolia during sunny october morning. Naturel village Turkish breakfast have cheese and cream from kirkkale, honey from southeast anatolia, black olive from gemlik, buffalo butter and tea from rize are very good and tasty. The slices of Bread heated on the top of wood stove. 750 cal per breakfast can be terrible and you have chance to walk or cycling at nature to spend the calories . Two breakfast 8 cupof tea and double Turkish coffe make cost 15 € (60 TL). Also lunch and dinner can be available.

I find it hard to find words except for "amazing". Food (real Polish food-rare in Polonezköy), service, atmosphere, portions (too big), taste, pricing, view is amazing. Gotta come at least one more. We are very glad to find a place to come with friends and enjoy beautiful atmosphere and delicious food.

After visiting the Hagia Sophia and en route to The Basilica Cistern and Grand Bazaar, we stopped for lunch. We are vegetarians and were very pleased to find that there were many items on the menu that we could eat. The service was good and the waiters very friendly. This is a tourist restaurant so the staff knows how to treat visiters. We had apple tea everywhere, but the tea here was special. We ate outside and although the restaurant is on a busy corner, we felt like we were really in a garden setting.
