In a nice tiny touristic port close to Livorno you taste an elegant fish meal prepared by chef Roberto De Franco. The restaurant is perfectly designed to please you and the food i perfectly prepared to drive you crazy. Fresh fish, ginger, pink grapefruit, paccheri and all he founds at the fresh market get in your dish in a mix of delicate flavor. It deserve a trip, 30 minutes driving from Livorno or Bolgheri.

It was a very nice evening with a fresh seafood dinner. If you search for a good restaurant in Cecina go there. Though it's not downtown it's worth a drive. Don't worry they have an own and serviced parking lot.

I've been to this restaurant for a dinner with friends.The restaurant is very nice and the sea sunset from the veranda is spectacular. The service is very fast and the staff very polite. Dishes presentation made by the owner is well taken care. - AppetizersFish cruditè made by shrimp, salmon, bonito, tuna and cicadas.Trio of grilled appetizers made by squid with agretti, bonito and toasted bread with black cuttlefish, octopus with Tuscan tomato bread soup.- First courseRice with shrimps and artichokes.- Second coursesliced amberjack fish with pecorino cheese.- DessertRaspberry cream with fruit and Pistachio cannoli.Total 88 euros. We ate at Il Cedrino last June, and the food was excellent. There were 4 adults & 2 children, everyone with a different order. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. We also had some different appetizes, The mussels were fantastic. The service was great, even though we had limited knowledge of the Italian language. The servers did their best to make sure we understood what we had ordered.

We visited late on a Friday night which wasn't a problem, nice seating area outside where we chose to eat. We ordered a mixed grill for 2 people which was excellent and on the waiters recommendation I had the angus steak which was delicious and tender, slight downside was that it was a little undercooked for my liking but what I did eat I did enjoy. Brisk and friendly and reasonably priced too, we will be back

Tried to get a table outside but couldn't as they were all booked out so ended up inside instead. Not very comfortable as air con was off and table light bulb was red hot! From being seated it was going on for at least half an hour for our orders to be taken, this included drinks too. Waitresses were very pleasant but obviously very busy and pushed. We saw some pizzas pass us by and they looked good. We opted for burgers, average and salty although very well presented. Just a knife and napkin wS served so no fork! Eating with your hands you would expect at least a wet wipe on the table but no such luck. Busy place but we probable won't return.

We stayed at Hotel Tornese for one night and decided to have the welcome drinks at the reception bar, located in the Caffè dei Fiori. Then we took a look at the menu and decided to give it a try as the proposed dishes sounded great and the price seemed legit.So, we ordered a pizza made in the Napoli'style, and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and the dough was so crispy and well raised, the toppings were also very fresh! We also had a big salad with super fresh ingredients, accompanied by a crispy focaccina, excellent! My partner had Baccalà , and he was so delighted, and to complete it all I had a fab millfeulle, OMG!Pity we live 2.5 hrs away or this would definitely be our fave resto!PS They said they have ongoing live music sessions throughout the year, which would be great to attend!

The location if this seafood restaurant is perfect. The sunset on the beach is to die for. You will be sitting literally 6-10m from the shore. The service is impeccable. The wine list is huge and chosen with taste. The food is simply perfect. The seafood is fresh, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious!La Barcaccina is the perfect place for a memorable dinner out with family or the ultimate romantic dinner in couple!
