Cumbuco is a small fishing village situated about 25 kilometres (16 mi) North West from the city of Fortaleza, in the state of Ceara, along the north east coast of Brazil. Cumbuco has a beautiful and quiet beach near Fortaleza on one side of town and the famous sand dunes on the other side. Absolutely delicious plates of shimeji, sushi, sashimi and temaki ! We have tasted Japanese food everywhere around the world and Nithai is in the top 10 list in terms of fresh fish and flavors combination - the white sashimi (robalo) was spectacular- highly recommended restaurant in Cumbuco.On plus, Paulo, the owner, and his staff were kind enough to make us sure we will get back there soon!
