The Pikeman is the place for Irish hospitality and quality food. The menu offers a very wide selection so the pickiest eater to the heartiest of appetites will be catered for. Steaks are superb. The seafood chowder is perfect, full of tasty chunks of fresh fish. Service is always friendly and management staff are always on hand to add a personal touch. The Pikeman is in the family run Grand Hotel. It is very popular with locals and always busy but service is never slow. The bar serves a great pint so slow service would not be a problem anyway! Top class trad music sessions are held regularly.

Nick's Restaurant is located in the beautiful town of Killorglin which is in the heart of Co. Kerry and stands on a hill to the south of Castlemaine Harbour headwaters, on the River Laune.
Visited twice with business colleagues. Nice friendly staff, my colleagues very much enjoyed the seafood Mornay. Being a vegetarian I asked if I could have something other than the veg curry offered, which did not appeal to me, and they accommodated my request. We passed a very enjoyable evening.
It's a popular spot. The piano is on the whole pleasant and probably popular with visitors to Ireland.

We arrived just on opening without a booking but were made most welcome. The meal was very good, all the more as the sous chef was ill and not in, the service was superb.

Never fails to deliver, places come and go, but the Banconi is refreshingly good, year in , year out. Book ahead so you won't be disappointed. Sea food dishes are all excellent. The ocal Kerry Seafood & Shellfish Plate is to die for , but the chowder is excellent too.But , oh my, the Shank of Kerry Lamb

Went because of a recommendation. Service was good. Waitress was great with the kids but that's as positive as I can be. My Caesar salad had a large blue bottle in, mixed with the dressing. The beef was thick, over cooked and tough. The chicken breast sauce was so spicy my friend couldn't eat it. The kids chips were very hard and I was risking my teeth when I ate one. I shall not be returning.

I've eaten here twice with my mum for lunch. Absolutely delicious food both times: the lunch specials were Turkey & ham and BBQ pulled prok burger for €10 each and the soup and Sandwich offer is good value too. Lovely dessert menu too - the bacardi and lime cheesecake is worth a try. Friendly and attentive staff. The only thing I would say is to be aware of where you sit as there is often a chilly draught.

This is a candlelit cellar restaurant, so good for a romantic meal with the fireplace nearby. The locally sourced food is fresh, tasty and well-prepared. We got the early bird dinner, which was excellent in quality and value, with very attentive service. A salad starter followed by the pasta, seafood, and wine; Pavlova topped with fruit and whipped cream for dessert. A cozy relaxed atmosphere and great food – take a bow Finnegan’s restaurant!
