I've been there from my campsite in Marina di Grosseto after a long way in the middle of the beautiful wild landscape of Maremma's hills.Once there, i realized that surely only Trip Advisor is able to lead me in an anonymous village like Tirli, nothing to highlight but is position in the middle of woods (the owner introduced the place with a "be careful to wild boars when you come back").The place is nice, popular (a lot of local people among the customers), the staff is incredibly friendly and informal, I've liked so much. The food is quite (!) good: I've especially appreciated the second course with wild boar meat and the dessert. A little bit poorer the fried vegetables as appetizer, not very good the roast pork meat.Very good the wine, fragrant and strong, remarkable the water in the jug (from the public aqueduct, I presume).I got a pizza for my daughter and it was good. The average cost was 25 euro per person.

We were looking for a nice place where they served both fish and pizza and we accidentally and unfortunately happened to end up in this place. The atmosphere was quite cool and the dining room was very attentively organized and we got tricked by that. They put us on a nice patio from which we had a great view of the surrounding hills. How can such a good first impression be turned into something so negative I still don't know! As our main course my friends ordered pizza and I ordered a plate of fried fish. The pizza was by far the weirdest pizza we've ever seen: square shape, very small, the crust was dry and extremely hard to cut, there was very light mozzarella on it and, most important, it was incredibly overpriced (15 ⬠for a "pizza" with seafood, never seen a price like that! Not even in upper class restaurants). I'm Italian and I can simply tell you that something like that cannot be called pizza, nowhere in the world and definitely nowhere in Italy. The diced fried fish (dadolata di pesce azzurro fritto ) I had it only 20 minutes after my friends finished their pizzas with thousands of excuses by the staff. They forgot my plate and they didn't bring it over even when I asked them to please check on it, and the restaurant was not crazy busy, there was only another table besides us! When I got it I wasn't hungry anymore, as you can imagine, but I can tell you without any doubt that it was nothing special. The staff was focused on trying to upsell for the entire time and they simply didn't care about what they already sold which, in my humble opinion, should be the thing to care about the most. They were sorry for what happened and so were we , we still paid for what we had (except for the fish ) and we went out. This was the worst dining experience of my life! Never ever think about giving this place a chance.
Neppure a mensa.

This place is really packed with people. Most German tourists. And actually everything is like in a bad pizza place in Germany. You can have dozens of pizzas that are topped (overloaded) with so many ingridients that the pizza itself is soaking wet. And who in OItaly would offer a pizza with sausage? I took a different one, but the worst pizza I ever ate in Italy.

Great choice of delicious dishes, friendly English-speaking staff, nice setting in outside garden. I had sea bass, my husband had mixed fried fish and my son had a pizza from the wood oven. All very good and not expensive. My son's pizza was 5 Euros. We were seated and served very quickly. There are also games for the children in case they get bored.

Wonderful Restaurant with Seafood specialities and Italian Pizza. Panoramic terrace over the beach. Locally Fished seafood. Fantastic location for romantic dinners and light lunch on the beach.
