Nine double rooms are reminiscent of the flowers and are furnished differently, with elegant late 19th century furniture. In one of the rooms we can provide a cot for small children. Guests are given a badge to open their rooms and the entrance gate. Between the old streets you can still breathe the passion for land and wine that, today as in the past centuries, inspire lives of village and its inhabitants. Most significant example is the oven: historical traces dated it back at the second half of the 16th century, when, named “oven of the community”, was built with the contribution of some aristocratic families and was used by farmers’ families of the village. Historical finds, discovered in the old archives of the castle, tell that, in 1742, Castellinaldo’s parish priest, complaining for the bad conditions of the church, blackened by the smokes of the oven, ordered its closure. At the second floor, you find the 5 rooms, each one of these paired with the name of a typical wine of the region.
