Again a very good, even superb, agriturismo up on the hills of Saint Antoino Abata. The view was amazing, the service perfect, and the food breathtaking. The quality and variation was excellent. Don't search further if you are looking for a nice dinner location. The only remark is the access road. You need to have some experience in driving on narrow steep roads.

Every single detail of our evening was perfect. Service, expert advice and information about each dish and wine - especially liked the Capri Wheat Beer pairing with one dish. Superb. The only advice I would give to non-dessert eaters is to go a la carte as our tasting menu included 4 desserts 0 they were probably amazing but only if you like desserts

For all the amazing reviews on TripAdvisor, I was expecting an outstanding pub experience at the Maracana. The chairs were almost all stools and extremely uncomfortable. The food was, in a word, disgusting, the panino very dry and flavourless, being a lot of bread with very little filling. We paid a lot and left very unsatisfied. At least there was one thing authentically like a British pub about the place: bad food. I love going to pubs, but I couldn't wait to get out of this one. i'd say 95% of the pubs I've been to around the world were better than this one. I fail to understand what all the fuss is about. I for one will not be going back.

We were staying nearby and tired from travelling on the first day were directed to Francesco and Co. Full with Italians we were reassured that this was authentic local fayre and we weren't proved wrong. We had a great meal at an very attractive price and liked it so much we went back on our second evening for more. It's not the most luxurious in terms of decor etc, but we couldn;t fault the food for the price. Very good and we'd definitely eat there again.

Genuine, delicious, pithy local food served with an infectious smile: antipasti, pizza, grilled meat, desserts...
The manager refused to take our order for a second course: "eat the antipasti and then you will see" - and he was right! We skipped the grilled meat tonight, going direct from antipasti to dolci. But we will be back tomorrow for more.
Be prepared for a long climb up a narrow one lane, two way road. And pay cash. But the view on the Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples and the welcome are well worth it.

We have been a few days around and we went inside the restaurant half full, without any information.
Service was very professional, food was excellent, and the quality of food amazing, unfortunately my pregnant girlfriend , not feeling well, and myself quite full we were not in the mood for a gastronomic experience. We enjoyed all the food and the effort of preparing it, but we left after the main course.
The service offered us the pre desserts to take away unexpectedly.
We wer really impressed by the quality, effort, and generosity of the servers and restaurant members.
Unfortunately, everything was perfect apart of the customers.

A nice bistro in a very unpicturesque part of town. I came here from reviews from tripadvisor and must admit I found it at best ok. Very welcoming staff, but I ordered an octopus salad with coconut and lemon. A decent size plate arrived but it was only octopus with a half lemon and raw shavings of coconut. I tried very hard to eat even a third of it and was seriously looking for somewhere to lose half of it as I didn't want to upset the staff! My next course was mussels, which were absolutely the best I've eaten in a long time. It's just a shame there is nothing other than some hard bread rolls on the side. When the waiter saw me checking something on my phone (my work emails) he offered me a free dessert then pointed to the tripadvisor sticker on the door. Felt rather exploited after that and would not go back.

doesn't look much from the outside, but enter the front door & it is like entering Aladdin's cave. It goes back for miles & miles.
Great pizza, great pasta, great service.
Only drawback is a narrow, busy road to get there, so if you're walking there, take care.

When moored at the Marina di Stabia near Naples, we enquired about local restaurants and were given the choice between an authentic and a gourmet restaurant. We chose authentic! Located in a downtrodden industrial area south of Naples and just 15 mins walk from the marina, this place is a real gem. We had a fantastic meal with wonderful service in a packed-out restaurant on a Tuesday evening in October. The place was full of the young, the old, families and groups of friends with not another tourist in sight. All we could eat and drink of the finest for just over €50 per head.

After visiting Pompeii and on our way to Salerno we stopped for a pizza and tasted probably the best Pizza during our 10 days Italy tour (This is actually our kid's verdict at the end of the tour).
Person who is making the pizza is so very friendly, warm and cheerful. Probably that reflect in the pizza he made too. If you are going for dinner then there is a land across the small street you can park (not sure during the daytime). Place is close to Pompeii and seems very popular among locals/regulars as so many locals were there.
