17th-Century country Inn, lots of charm and warmth. Very busy restaurant recommended by "The good Hotel Guide", "Michelin Dining out in Pubs Guide", "CAMRA traditional real Ale Guide" and many others. "Shabby Chic" in Guernsey is how we are described and we strive to maintain the original old charms of the building but adding a little contemporary quirkiness. Many local fish dishes and our signature "Chancre" crab salads prove very popular with visitors and locals alike. If you enjoy your food, you will love the Fleur.
Fabulous 1 night stay. Quirky hotel, loved the decor. We stayed in a suite which was huge. Hotel grounds are lovely. Very warm welcome when we arrived and all staff were friendly and courteous. Dinner was Fabulous, all 4 of us chose differently and all meals were delish. Countryside hotel but a 15/20 minute walk to Vazon before breakfast. Hope to return.

We had booked the Cobo Bay hotel for the last week of May - our first visit to the island. The weasther was cooler and less sunny than we had hoped, but the trip was so good that we are determined to go again when we have the opportunity. The hotel was a fortunate choice! Situated on one of the most scenic bays in Guernsey, we had booked a sea view room with balcony. This was a perfect location for the views, people watching and lovely sunsets. The hotel is of a very high quality - well designed, beautifully maintained and furnished to a high standard - the bed and all linen were exceptionally good. All staff are top class - friendly, smiling and helpful. Food and service in the restaurant is of a very high standard. Our compliments to the chef! The terrace area at the front (with some tables sheltered if there is a breeze) is a delight for meals, or just a drink. We used buses for travelling around the island and Cobo Bay is served by 3 routes with frequent buses. The service is a bit sparse on Sundays, but still sufficient with some pre-planning. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

La Roche provides comfortable accommodation in an elegant and charming ‘Georgian’ home with secluded gardens and terraces, conservatory, outdoor heated spa pool with water jets and adjoining shower facilities. This exceptional B & B has gained a Silver Award, the first such accolade granted in the Guernsey Guest Accommodation category. La Roche is owned and run by Jane and David who provide outstanding hospitality, with Chambres D'Hote ambiance.
With another couple we had walked many islands and looked for a place to stay in Guernsey where we could be comfortable, serendipitous and happy. La Roche, Jane and David all exceeded our expectations and we had a glorious time there, being very fortunate that it all fitted in. Our hosts were exceptional in ensuring that we could have a good time and their stories and art highly enjoyable. Breakfasts were a delight in every way and our rooms were full of character and comfort. A bit reluctant to write this as La Roche should be secret except to those that can really treasure its exceptional quality.

The staff at this hotel were wonderful....very helpful and friendly....though there were rumours of the new owner making them redundant (I hope not they were fantastic). The hotel decor is modern, the rooms of a high standard and the breakfast - cooked to order - were first class, and served as promptly as the busy staff could manage. The bar has an adequate wine list but could do with a wider selection of whiskies in my opinion. Had one evening meal in the restaurant which was good. There is a pool, but we were there in October and it was closed for the season - please note if this is important to you. Grandes Roches, Cobo and Vazon beaches are a 10 - 20 minute walk away. Would certainly stay here again
