The restaurant menu is great, they are serving meals based on products from their own farms: trout, beef, sausages, milk, sour cream, cheese, vegetables. You can visit the trout farm see the trouts "live", also you can go fishing the trouts but you have to pay for them if you catch. The restaurant is usually crowded and the service is a little bit slower. The view and natural ambiance are great.

We arrived at the hotel by cable car with a small overnight bag.You have to take EVERYTHING you need with you in this bag. There is no option to purchase anything you have forgton.
There is a lodge you have meals in at lunch time and for breakfast and dinner if you wish. The food is simple and the soups of the day are good if a bit cold. The night in the Ice Hotel included our dinner. The setting is beautiful. Ice tables and chairs. An Ice piano and many other ice models. Fairly lights light up the area and there is a bar at the end of the room. No need for ice in your drinks! The bedroom are a selections of igloos joined together and the door way to your room has a curtain. The base of the bed is made of ice with a bit of plywood on top. The floor is compact snow. You have a sheep skin rug under you then a sleeping bag, nice and warm but well used and a tad smelly! Then blankets on top of you. Your jacket goes inbetween. If you have a phone with you put it in a small plastic bag then in your jacket pocket to stop it from freezing overnight.
As there are no toilets in the Ice Hotel you have to walk to the cable care rest rooms. Its about 500 yds away but in the dark of night in heavy snow it could be 5 miles away. In the morning we had a total white out and I had to follow footsteps in the snow to find the lodge. Totally out of my comfort zone.

This restaurant is located outside Boita, a village very close to Sibiu route to Valcea. I passed several times around him but I was not "inspired" to go in. So do not let the appearance to trick you, you will be surprised by the interior and menu with Romanian food in general and the interior fireplace in the center, with a bell that goes off smoke. The food is good, at an average price and varied.

I've been here 4 times I think, and each time i discovered something new. First, you'll be amazed by the location, in a pretty remote area, a bit of an off-road experience but theeen...oh waw! The restaurant, the view, the horses, the interior, the outdoor scenery, the staff... everything you want from a place like this. I've been here only for coffee, drinks and so on, but i plan on eating here as well because the menu sounds delicious! I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart! Congrats to the owners for having the idea, congrats for the staff for their kindness and joyful atmosphere they create everyday!

It's too glitsy for a mountain resort: all kind of plastic flowers on all tables and matchy-matchy sparkling ceiling lights. Prominent smell of scented smoke and loud music on an empty restaurant on Saturday at 11 am. However, friendly staff, good food and nice location. Although, a little bit pricey.
Everyday during lunch you can enjoy the menu of the day, which is freshly prepared every morning by our skilled chefs. Besides, you can choose whatever you desire from our menu. The ingredients chosen are quality products purchased directly from indigenous producers. The Sigemo team invites you to enjoy our traditional Romanian food, prepared with great attention and love!
