Visited here for a meal and the service was delightful! I would also recommend booking ahead of your visit as it is rather small and space is limited. The food wasn't great and seemed store bought and very salty. We won't be back but glad we visited.

The dinner menu at Dunvalanree changes every day but as a founder member of the Sea Food Trail, will include 50% sea food. Dine on Seared Sanda scallops on samphire with preserved lemon, or choose Crispy crab cakes on salad leaves with (home made) chilli relish or .... The other 50% includes local lamb from Ifferdale or beef from Mull or local cheeses or .... For dessert try the cheesecake - described by one diner as THE dessert at the end of the rainbow, or the lemon posit or the cranachan or .... Fully licensed serving local beers and whisky as well as wine from across the world.
Whilst touring Scotland in our camper van we stopped for coffee at this small hotel one morning in June. Overhearing how good the food was we booked to return that evening and were not disappointed.Three lovely courses each freshly cooked using locally sourced food and very reasonably priced. Not somewhere to go if you are in a hurry but if you want great views, peace and quiet and a superb meal - go!

We ate dinner here, with our dog, in the conservatory. Nice outlook to the garden. Not a huge menu but plenty of choice for us and our food was well cooked and nicely presented and arrived in good time.
As a suggestion we thought it would be nice to see some local artwork/photography on the walls in the conservatory as the decor was rather plain here.
We were the only people eating in the conservatory that Saturday evening, it felt just a little quiet and secluded so some background music might have been nice.

Bistro style bar and restaurant serving locally sourced fresh food daily.
Popped in for lunch after playing golf at Carradale Golf Club Lovely warm welcome from May who had just lit a nice cosy fire.
Two warming plates of soup and sitting next to the fire soon warmed us up We followed this with Aubergine bake which was delicious and Fish cakes which were also delicious
Very reasonable pricing for good quality food, no microwave heat ups here, just lovely homemade food beautifully presented
Look forward to returning

Freshly cooked food sourced locally where possible and if in season. All dietary needs catered for.Coffee made from freshly ground beans.
We popped in here twice in two days, first visit was so good we had to return the next day to sample more! Extremely warm welcome extended to both us and our Bearded Collie dog, who loved his own wee biscuit while we enjoyed our food. My favourite was the goats cheese with onion marmalade tart although husband's pancakes with bacon and maple syrup came a very close second. I loved how there was a good mix of locals and visitors coming in and all chatting to each other....a real network bistro indeed!
