Reviews on Asian food in St. Kitts, Caribbean. Lush and luxuriant, the exotic tropical island nation of St. Kitts and Nevis is a romantic paradise. St. Kitts' wonderful beaches remain relatively crowd-free, and nature lovers delight in seeing lava formations, tropical forest and lagoons and underwater marvels while snorkeling or diving. Among more than 200 historical sites, former plantation homes now offer elegant accommodation. Eco-rambles, bio-tours and climbing are Nevis attractions. Rent cars or mopeds on-island and catch ferries between the two.

Well this was not are first chose to eat at but the first was busy the second was shut so in the end we finished up here. Good parking in front of Karma. The service was good and staff were polite, the spring rolls were OK but the main course tasted and looked like the cat had just thrown it up. Also very expenses even if the food was fit to eat. Will not be going back to Karma nor will any one else in our party.Dear Guest We have never had a complaint with our food .. what did you order in your main course ? Did you let the server know the food wasn't good ? Well we are sorry that you had a bad experience but this is never heard for our food before . Let me know so we can look into this please

There's not a lot to recommend the port/capital city of St.Kitts, Basseterre, however there's a gem hiding amongst the bustling waterfront: Twist Lounge. Up a flight of stairs sharing a building with a cigar emporium and across from a mid-seedy casino, the Twist has a wide variety of decidedly unexpected dishes. We had the curried chicken and a seafood (fresh) stew. Both were very well presented and reminiscent of visits to top level Indian or far east bistros. Not the iguana soup you get in Bon Aire or the Red fish in Aruba, but a startling entree in the St.Kitts somewhat lack luster culinary efforts. We'd go back. Service seems a little lackadazical, but it's really just island time, man---prices are extremely reasonable considering you get a serious feast with the entrees.Kudos to the chef. It made St.Kitts a much more palatable stop on our recent journey through the eastern Caribbean.

We stayed at the Marriott next door. Karma is walking distance (2 blocks?), from the hotel, which was nice ... Especially when most other restaurants required a cab trip. This restaurant has a long driveway with a shuttle from one end to the other. We had our kids (5, 7 & 9) with us. They enjoyed the chicken tikka masala, veggy somosas and garlic nan bread. We like the chicken & veg curry and lamb rogan gosh. Our waiter was very friendly and apologized for a limited kids menu, but then realized our kids like the adult Indian food.Only slight downside is some wind (but so does almost every restaurant on the island!), however they do have a glass wall. It seems this place gets busy later at night for cocktails.

Stopped in at Lemongrass for a late lunch/early dinner after our catamaran cruise. For appetizers, ordered the conch ceviche and it was fabulous. Probably the best ceviche I ever had. My husband ordered the chicken satay and it was wonderful as well. Main meals were the house fried rice and the grilled snapper with rice and veggies. Both dishes were awesome, fish was fresh and flaky but did have a few small bones so be careful for those. In conclusion a great meal, fairly priced and enjoyable.

After a full day we decided to go to Samurai Teppanyaki for dinner. It was a wonderful experience. We were served by a friendly, patient and accommodating waitress- Neeka. Even though it was a large group she took our orders accurately. The meals are prepared right before your eyes with flames and fan fare. Chef Ace engaged us in the meal preparation and was very entertaining while he prepared the meal. It was thrilling. The Hichabi Salmon and fried rice is a must have. Superb!Dear Guest, Greetings from SAMURAI TEPPANYAKI RESTAURANT, Frigate bay!! It gives us immense pleasure that we could live up to your expectations. Thank you SO MUCH for taking time out and providing your personal feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back at Samurai.

We went to this place twice in our week on St. Kitts. Very close to the Marriott, an easy walk. The owner/hostess is colorful. If it's not busy, she will talk your ear off. The complementary bruschetta is a nice touch. Salsds were not great. The entrees we had the first time (gnocchi and fettuccini with vegetable sauce) were bland. But the linguine with white claim sauce I had on the second visit was one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommended dish. So our take was that it's inconsistent but worth a visit.

Great authentic Italian food within walking distance of the Marriott. Excellent service with well trained and attentive staff. Friendly service Excellent value for the money.
This restaurant is down the street from the Marriott where we stayed. The outside doesn't look like much but all the food was very good, especially the spinach ravioli. We had the caesar salad, mixed salad, lobster bisque, lasagna, clams with noodles and rigatoni. The service was great. The bill was in the Eastern Carribean Dollar - it was not pricey. Also they added a 10% service charge. When we asked about it they said 3% was gratuity and 7% went to restaurant. We did add additional gratuity. The wine was very good. We had Cabernet Veneto and pino noir and pino gregio. I would definitely come back.
