Reviews on Asian food in Bonaire, Caribbean. Are there more flamingos than people on Bonaire? It's possible, and it's part of this unspoiled island's appeal. Bring your binoculars and your scuba gear to make the most of Bonaire's natural charms: more than 200 different species of birds live here, and the island itself draws divers from around the world to its reef-lined coast, a National Maritime Park.
Things to do in Bonaire
We had Cha Shui Ding and asked for shrimp instead of pork. It was delicious. We also had barbecued ribs appetizer. One appetizer and one entree was plenty for two people. The portions are generous. We loved the ribs so much we took another order home. Order something from the centerfold and you can't go wrong. The Cantonese food is their strong suit. The prices: inexpensive! This is the only restaurant in Bonaire that we have found that has Air Conditioning!
Food is good and the kitchen is clean. Friendly people if you know them. If you want them to make combination of dishes it's possible to. They Need a air conditioned and nice part in the restaurant where you can sit quietly and eat. If you go there recommend it to them. The restaurant is more a take away type of restaurant.Thank you mr robert for your possitive experience at nadia snack.Indeed we are more a take out place, however we are pleased with your suggestion and will take it in consideration.See you soon.

We wanted something simple but filling and this was a good choice. Nothing fancy about Jasmine Garden (in contrast to the flashy places right on the waterfront) but the food was basic, good Chinese and the service was friendly and fast. It's off the beaten path a bit and the street lighting is not great; but it was a nice change on the island.

There is a decided dearth of culinary variety on Bonaire and so Lek Lek came as a wonderful surprise. We are Thai food lovers and seek it out wherever we are. The food at Lek Lek was delicious, perfectly spiced according to our instructions (mild for the wimpy children and sweat-inducing spicy for the adults), and portion sizes were juuuust right. We did take away and there was a bit of a wait, since the whole island seems to be on board with the Thai food thing. But because we sat at the Zazu bar and drank their specialty drink -- a passionfruit mojito/caipirinha that turned out to be the best drink we have ever gotten on the island -- the wait was painless.Thank you Linda for writing such a very nice review for us and Patrice of Zazu. It was great having you! kind regards Ruby

We offer great food in a relaxing atmosphere, what more can you ask for. Come by and experience it yourself. Sushi is served every Tuesday and Saturday.
My wife and myself walked over from the Sand Dollar for dinner. We were seated promptly in the pleasantly decorated inside dining area. The server was very attentive, and polite. The menu is quite extensive, and ranges from sushi to steak. My wife greatly enjoyed her dinner of Teriyaki Shrimp and I was very pleased with the seafood pasta. We both enjoyed a glass of with our meal, and the server made sure our water glasses were always full. I thought the cost was about average for the island. Overall, we have eaten at many restaurants in Bonaire, and I would judge Zen's to be one of the good ones. I read a previous review that was quite negative. I have no explanation why our experiences differed so dramatically. I hope you give Zen's a try, and then share your review.

Our party of four really enjoyed our first visit to Porchiaâs in Kralendijk. It was previously Wilâs Tropical Grill, but now is Porchiaâs. The menu is quite varied, the wine list relatively good & the service was excellent. I had the lobster crab bisque which was very good , somewhat different than I have had before. I had the mahi special which was excellent. This was complemented by a nice Italian Chardonnay. We really enjoyed talking with the owner, Porchia, who was quite vivacious with a great personal story. We will definitely return on our next visit! It was great meeting all of you...No wait....It was great Meeting and Talking to all of you! The exchanges of our varied stories was perfect. I loved the cooking tidbits! They will definitely be put into use. Stay Tuned!Thank you all for coming to Porchia's Restaurant! I look forward to seeing you all when you return to Bonaire.Welcome to the family!Porchia

On my previous trip to Bonaire I went two times to eat at Osaka. But Iâve been here more then a dozen times. They prepare the rolls with passion. Together with some fresh local fish, they create outstanding sushi. I never tried their teppanyaki, but iâm sure that would be a delicious as well. Not to forget the nice and friendly service. Keep up the good work! See you next time on my trip to Bonaire.
