Located by the pool, the Mango Beach club offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding islands and the ocean. You will find delicious cocktails and a light & tasty cuisine, made with fresh and homemade products. For a lunch feet in the sand, a cocktail a
I must be the luckiest man alive. I have had nothing but the best dining experiences while Iâve stayed on St. Barth. Mango, the restaurant in the Hotel Christopher, is no exception. The magnificent view as you dine with your feet in the sand is an incredibly distinct experience. My partner and I started by ordering some cocktails - âYes I Canneâ and an âExpresso (their spelling) Martiniâ, both were delicious. After an Amuse Bouche, a delicious variation of the traditional gazpacho, we started with our shared appetizers - Shrimp Tempura with a remarkable aioli dipping sauce and the Gyoza with chicken and mushrooms - both of these were wonderful, the rich flavor of the mushrooms with the Gyoza and the lushness of the shrimp tempura gave everything a special flavor.Next our main courses - I had the Caesar Salad with Crispy Chicken. It had a very flavorful dressing with many bits of bacon, and the well cooked sliced crispy chicken breast. My partner had the spectacular mahi-mahi strips breaded and fried. Perfectly cooked - moist and fleshy with an exceptional breading and a very tasty tartare sauce. We also enjoyed a side of grilled vegetables, again, another delicious dish.In short, Mango is a wonderful experience - great food, excellent professional service, and extraordinary ambiance. Who can argue with the image of waves lapping up on a rocky shoreline while you dine? I canât.When we walked the short distance we found our car waiting - top down, doors open and valet anxious to help. Really? This isnât 5* treatment?I unhesitatingly recommend Mango.Dear 9302244,Thank you for your message. We're so delighted to read that you had the best dining experience at Mango restaurant, during your stay in St Barth. It's such an honor to know that you enjoyed each plate of our Chef Nicolas Tissier. Be sure we will spread your nice words with him and his team. Thank you, again for your recommendation. We look forward to welcoming you another time in our beautiful resort.Kindest regards,Christophe Chauvin,General Manager

Night club
New place in St. Jean, nice interior, cool DJ. It wasn't very crowded when we entered around 10pm but many (not all) seats had reserved signs. The bar was basically empty. Our group was ordering lots of drinks and dancing and sort of creating the party when one of my friends sat down in a lounge seat to check his email. A waitress came over and instead of saying something like, "hey this is for table service only" picked up the reserved sign, held it above her head, and stared at my friend in a very rude way. Suffice to say, we closed our tab and left and I can only imagine the DJ and hostess were perplexed as to what happened to the group that was getting the energy going. Shame, but you need to train your staff properly.
Formerly Toms, this yummy juice bar also has shots and vegan snacks. Yesterdayâs visit was refreshing and memorable. The staff is friendly and polite. There is WiFi but no restroom. Donât miss this place, we are already planning our return visit!

Enjoyed lunch here last month and also enjoyed the atmosphere! We have walked and driven by many times during previous visits to the island so we decided to give it a whirl. We consider ourselves luck to have snagged seats pretty quickly as the place was packed.A couple Caribs hit the spot as did the coconut shrimp, salmon roll (both absolutely delicious). The mussels were ordered in haste and were tasty but not substantial. Caesar salad was good.Highly recommended and would return.

I laughed out loud when I read another reviewerâs excellent description of the poor service offered at Le Bar de LâOubli. It turns out that he hit the nail on the head. I believe the best way to avoid frustration at this establishment is to accept beforehand that their service will be slow to non-existent. These servers have an almost supernatural ability to avoid making eye contact with you when youâre trying to get their attention... giving them the benefit of the doubt, they may have too many tables per server.Aside from that, itâs âclaim to greatnessâ is its very cool location at a busy intersection in downtown Gustav-a good spot for people watching if you can get a window. We each drank a (watery) margarita & ate a grilled mahi sandwich which was average. Overall, this place sort of reminds me of the feeling I had when eating at a hectic , high-volume, rapid-turnover eatery at Disney World.I donât regret going here for an afternoon meal. It served a purpose when there werenât many alternatives available.

Pearl Beach, is an extension of the former Tom Beach Hotel renamed Pear Beach Hotel. It combine a beautiful sandy beach, clear blue-green water, rented beach beds, umbrellas and towels attended by a friendly and efficient staff. Water sport is near, paddle, snorkeling, dinghies and sea bobs. The bar offers a variety of cocktails, and the restaurant a pleasant menu of salads, meat and fish specialties. The Wine selection is generous, the staff friendly and efficient.

This is ALWAYS an experience and always enjoyed. Our family of 7 adults made our way here after a morning of hot sun and swimming on the beach and nothing tastes better in your sandy bathing suit than a couple of Heinekens and cheeseburgers in paradise. Love, love, love it.

We ordered two tapas, and both were marginal at best...flavorless bar food, and nothing more. If your intent is to drink, then it's probably OK, but be careful ordering half off specials -- you need to order two to get the discount. Service is good and attentive.
