Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in St. Barthelemy. Christopher Columbus added St. Barthelemy, or St. Barts to his collection in 1493, but the French soon stepped in. Today, the chic Caribbean island - officially a department of France - is a popular winter getaway for people from mainland France, the rest of Europe and North America. Keep in shape and walk between attractions or get a rental car to see more of the island. Beachgoers can choose between strands such as Grand Saline, if nude sunbathing appeals, or shady, isolated Colombier Beach.

Bohemia is the renovated, rebranded restaurant of the Tropical Hotel. For those staying in Le Village de St Jean it is convenient to now have somewhere to go for lunch, dinner or just drinks, without having to walk back up the hill from St Jean.We called in for drinks one evening. As there were a few hotel guests sitting around the tiny swimming pool we made our way to the garden side, and sat a very cosy wooden table. I think the term is rustic ! We ordered some drinks and had a relaxing time.Previously I had taken a quick look at the menu when walking by, and as a non-fish eater the only main course for dinner I could eat was the Beef Tenderloin at 46 Euros ! None of the main courses were under 35 Euro. However, I was still a little shocked that the bill for two Presidente and one Caipirinha was 30 Euros, which is more expensive that at Tom Beach !Still, it is quite a nice environment.

Enjoy a mediterranean experience with a unique view of the harbor of Gustavia. Since 1935, nestled on the rocky cove of Sainte-Marguerite Island, in front of Cannes, La Guérite has seduced a worldwide clientele sensitive to its charm, authenticity and cui
While La Guerite has a beautiful setting on the quiet side of Gustavia Harbour, the attractive decor and glittering clientele did not make up for the poor food and poor service at the highest prices seen on this island. The waiter ignored us for 25 minutes until he came to ask what we wanted to order. We had not been offered cocktails or a wine list at that point. Be advised, the food arrives âas readyâ which means some of your guests will finish their meal before others have been served. The presentation of the dishes was not to be believed....poor food simply thrown onto a plate. My entree of wahoo looked like a âdogs breakfastâ and one of my guests shared this view. St. Barthâs has such world class restaurants and dining is such a pleasure. Even the bread here was bad and we had to grab it ourselves from a service table. If the management was short of staff, they should have done something to compensate guests versus acting as if we should have felt privileged to be at their establishment. This restaurant should be avoided.Dear AllStarEater,Thank your for your review and for finding the time to write it, in details. We are extremely sorry to read you did not appreciate your evening at La Guérite St Barth. We do our very best every day to make our customers happy thanks to our cuisine and our table service.Your detailed review will be sent to the restaurant management as well as our Executive Chef. Our main goal is to improve and we pay extreme attention to reviews like yours. We would be extremely happy to have another opportunity to please you.Sunny regards,La Guérite Team.

Good to see that Mayaâs To Go is open for business post Irma. Not sure what I would do without my mid-morning routine of a coffee after the early beach visit !The service is excellent, and their wifi is fast.

The restaurant serves a casually elegant Mediterranean Brasserie, taking advantage of the bounty of the Caribbean Sea while incorporating an Italian accent due to the closeness with its sister property in Lake Como and the nationality of the chef and owne
Had a very delicious lunch here one afternoon. Restaurant was quiet, views were amazing and our food was great. Fun beach to walk after lunch and enjoy the views. Dear kscarlettohara,Thanks for sharing your comments. In addition to the great food, you are right about the amazing views. Le Sereno hotel is situated on the beach of a protected marine reserve. All of our guests are able to enjoy the opportunity to swim alongside large sea turtles. Please find the time to visit our equally stunning sister property, il Sereno, in Lake Como, Italy.Best,Samy
