Last Sunday August 25, 20019 my friends and I spent few hours in this restaurant. It's a very good rustic place with. In the place there are mango trees, breadfruit, starfruit, bananas, etc. Parking lot.The pizza was made in a wood oven. It was well baked and the sauce light. We chose the one of Prosciutto, manchego and aragula. It was slightly salted. The waiter was very friendly.

Ever been to a martini bar at 8pm surrounded by children and then get served a martini in a WATER glass? Me neither until I stopped at Drakes in the Waldorf. Our martinis tasted like kerosene and were the temperature of bath water. Drake's is the height of overpriced resort swill. Caution is recommended.

Artisanal food, craft drinks in the heart of historical Fajardo, Puerto Rico
We went there after a long day and we're a bit disappointed that they didn't serve alcohol. The pizzas are really big. A large can easily feed a family of 4. And they were really good. The grandma tasted really fresh, but even the cheese was as good as any I've had in Chicago. In addition to no alcohol, there were a couple of other drawbacks: the pizzas do take a long time to make. It's the sign of a fresh pizza, but we weren't told it would take that long (Luke Chicago's Lou Malnati's that tells you right away that the pizza takes 45 minutes). Also, bring your Spanish or be ready to point at what you want. The waitress didn't know any English. If you know what to expect based on what I just wrote, you'll love it. The pizza really is good and it's in a neat old building.

I have been to this charming coffee shop twice on my visits to the island. Super cute setting, awesome service and amazing coffees, hot chocolate and sweets. I have not had any of the wraps, etc. but I am sure they are delicious too. The owner, Mia, could not be more friendly or gracious. Go and visit this brilliant place. You will not be disappointed!!!Thanks to let us know your experience here in café playero. Is a pleasure for us to serve with much love and excellence.
