It's one of the many little restaurants/bars/cafes along the main street as you disembark from your ship and waddle through the bazaar. Sandwich boards entices you with free WiFi and reasonably priced beers. It's not for all beers...only for Claro....not our cup of cold beer.WiFi was good and you need a password from the proprietor. We wanted something light to munch, coz being on a cruise ship means that we've already put on 10 lbs by the third day. We asked the proprietor if they had Lion Fish cerviche. He said no but they have cerviche nonetheless. We've been to many restaurants/bars/cafes in our travels and from experience (now we need some more) cerviches at establishments like these are not pricey at all. So, throwing caution to the wind, we didn't bother asking the price (like we always do), and asked for 2 orders of our light snack.Cerviche was tasty and after six days of face stuffing on board our cruise ship that was perfect. When we asked for the bill we were taken aback. Each order of cerviche was US$20. I asked if that was correct as the dishes on the menu list on the walls and sandwich boards showed nothing over US$18 (which is like a huge plate of lots of food). Proprietor said yes it was correct...and it's NOT even Lion Fish cerviche!A hamburger with fries and veggies was US$10! Shucks...should have gone with that!!We bit our tongues and paid up as we didn't want to spoil our winter getaway. Also, we had things to do, places to go, people to see on this beautiful island of Bonaire.Establishment is clean. WiFi is good. But do the regular practice of asking the prices of food prior to ordering. We let our guard down and we got stung!

When we arrived at Bonaire, we got lost trying to find our accommodation. We ended up here asking for directions and a glass of wine, (or two?). The staff were great at helping us to find our way. Before we left Bonaire, we visited once again for lunch and had some great fried chicken and salad. Great staff, good location and plenty of street parking.Dear Doooglas, Thank you for the nice review. Besides fried chicken and coleslaw, we have a lot more. So when you come back try our fantastic ham or cheeseburgers, or on Wednesday evening our Indonesian (oriental fried rice) Nassie Goreng. On Thursday for lunch we serve a great Surinamese rice table. Which is a fusion between Indian and Javanese.Always here to serve you, from 7 am till 10 pm. From Monday till Saturday. Sunday we are only open for breakfast, from 7:30 till 12:00 pm.

El Fogon Latino

It is always nice to eat here. This Colombian restaurant is simple not fancy. The food is good and I always enjoy my meals here . My favorite is still the mixed grill: a kind of steak, chicken and chorizo. You finish the dishes with one of the special sauces. They have two tables outside. When you want to sit there, make sure that there is a breeze. Otherwise it can be too hot fast. Inside you can sit beneath one of their ceiling fans.

We came here twice during our week on Bonaire! The food is just so good. The first time we ordered a ceasar salad with chicken and a beef dish that came with fries and onions and vegetables. Amazing. Then we came back and ordered chicken wings and another beef dish with a fried egg and plantain. So good! Please come here!

Mi Banana is a small restaurant with great food. The Mixed Seafood Grill was delicious and the desserts are homemade. It is family owned and very friendly. There is no ac but there are several fans that keep it cool inside. If you are looking for great local food this is the place to go.
