Where do I begin? From the time we checked in it was a flawless experience. The location is secluded in the heart of Petionville. The ambiance was inviting and the staff at the restuarant was incredible. Rachelle was super nice and extremely helpful. We are coming back to complete our second photoshoot and we are most certainly staying here again. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed. Be sure to take advantage of the poolside dinner. It was so romantic.

Authentic, handmade Italian cuisine, our ambiance and excellent food make Portofino a cuisine destination in Port-au-Prince. Mamma Mia!!
You can tell the staff is well trained. They follow a pattern - including serving olive oil, balsamic and parmesan onto each of the small dishes which while very nice, takes away each individuals preference in how they would combine each of these ingredients, and it takes a long time. The bread is excellent. We had seconds. Our table ordered pastas, lasagna, a chicken dish and pizza. All the food was well presented and tasty. It is the most expensive restaurant I have been to in Haiti. Maybe one could argue itâs worth it. What I did not appreciate was the way they calculated the bill at the end of the night. The dishes are priced in gourdes but the bill arrived in US dollars. The exchange they used to convert gourdes to dollars was not in favor of the client. Then, since we all live and work in Haiti we had to convert back to gourdes. It was a mess and ended up increasing the price of each meal. When you are paying $50 a meal x 6 persons, it makes a difference. This should change.

Though the service from the kitchen was slow (typical in Haiti), the entire staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food was wonderful. We had a couple of the soup selections, a variety of the appetizers (the winner was the crispy shrimp crepe), and a wide variety of entrees. Everyone was super pleased with her choice. PS. The rum sour was the best I've had.

Located on a busy street most don't notice that there is a garage beneath the building. It's a large top floor restaurant with a lovely view of petionville and beyond. Service is prompt, management is present and food is good. The menu is adequately extensive but the chef will easily accommodate special requests. Whether for a drink, lunch or dinner the place does not disappoint.

The new restaurant of Jean-Pierre in Haiti. Typical Belgium brasserie style where you can eat and drink every day in a fabulous ambiance. Parking is inside the property and is free. Grand opening in September 2016 and already one of the place that counts
Spain meets Morocco. Excellent bar tender and drinks menu. Good lounge and dining room- open air or air con. Varied and essential menu. They will gladly amend dishes to cater for allergies and special requests. Tuna steak was jyst right. Service is very attentive without being overbearing. Secure and ample parking.
