Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Oranjestad. Boutiques, upscale chain stores and street vendors, as wells as casinos and a wide range of restaurants, dance clubs and bars, make Oranjestad a popular destination in Aruba. In addition to shopping, dining and entertainment, the island's capital city offers museums, a butterfly farm, art galleries, golf, historical sites and a marina. The island's colonization by the Netherlands shows in Oranjestad's Dutch colonial architecture, while the buildings' bright colors are distinctly Caribbean.

Great food, and super friendly service by the asian owner /host /server, while his dear wife does the amazing cooking. Small place, outdoor seating, alcohol available. Located off the main road, part of the Renaissance Marketplace. Watch for the dinner specials. Parking nearby on street.

The food is delicious while the service is friendly and efficient. Inexpensive lunch or dinner. Each year we visit, we make it our point to eat here at least once. Try the egg roll, the largest and tastiest weâve ever seen.

We were told to come to this restaurant by Tito Bolivar of Aruba Mural Tours. He is a local and knows just about everywhere on the island. When you get tired of all the fried food in Aruba, this is a nice break. This place is tricky to find as it is on the back corner of the strip of businesses. it is actually on Fordstraat just off L.G. Smith Blvd. (200 yards south of the Wendy's), and we had actually driven right by it without seeing it. Only by asking directions were we able to find it.....but it was worth it.The staff was super friendly and the chef's wife Marin was very helpful. The food was excellent, very tasty and fresh. We tried the Tito Salad which was a nice change and a custom made roll of spicy crab, fried salmon skin and pineapple and something else that I forget. I don't remember by Marin ordered it for us and we liked it a lot. Atmosphere is typical for sushi places, nothing fancy but there is a traditional Japanese Chabudai table for those that want that. Pricing was good.Take the time to find Tatami, you will be glad you did.We at Tatami are happy that you and your wife enjoyed our creations of sushi.Thank you for pointing out, concerning the location/directions to our restaurant. We will check how we can improve this for our tourists. Looking forward to welcome you back soon at Tatami.Sunny greetings or actually espacially for you a big hugMarijn(chef's wife)

Decided we wanted to try Chinese for a change and found Kowloon. What a delightful surprise! We had two of the house specialities. The mixture of flavors was absolutely phenomenal. The portions were ample but not extreme. The service was wonderful. Our server was very informative and made excellent suggestions. We are definitely visiting Kowloon on our next trip.

We invite you to experience a true Cantonese meal with amicable service, or even enjoy one of our delightful dishes in the comfort of your own home by ordering in. We look forward to sharing our traditional Cantonese meals with you.
Most of us have this one place where you could eat every day. Well this is mine. Place has two menuâs. A take out menu which includes the standard Arubian-Chinese dishes and a restaurant menu which has some local chinese dishes but mostly more authentic cuisine. Service is prompt. Sundayâs during lunch it get busy.Wife and kids traveled to visit grandpa and grandma. So having 5 weeks vacation from family cooking, and having no intention to cook for myself any of these days, i will be uploading pictures of the dishes. Thank you for your comment Jerrel.
