This past Sunday we had dinner at this lovely restaurant and sat outside to enjoy the music of a saxophone player playing in the street and feel the breeze. After a slight delay in getting our appetizer we spoke to David the manager who was first rate! He was on top of our dinner made sure we received the meat empanadas that were flavorful with a flaky crust. As there are three empanadas to an appetizer, I brought two on the plane the next day and enjoyed them a second time. We ordered. Pulled carne in a cooked plantain that was delicious! It was served with white rice and beans that highly recommend ordering . We ordered the skirt steakWith wonderful thing and french fries and red beans and rice. A lot of carbs but you have the option to order a salad if you want as a side. Everything was flavorful, everything was well prepared, and well seasoned. David the manager was exceptional in his customer service. Finally the tres Leche cake was amazing. Someone at the pool of our hotel recommended this restaurant as authentic Cuban and Puerto Rican food it was right on the mark and the prices were very reasonable I highly recommend going!

Great server, nice ambiance. Fantastic food. Had been here once for a drink after eating somewhere else, and wanted to come back after noticing the quality of the food that was going by during our drinks.Everything was very good, if not excellent. Started off with the Empeñadillos and another starter that was not on the menu (avocado with fried shredded beef). Both were fantastic. For main, I had the Whole snapper, that was very good and presented upright, which I had never seen. My buddy had the Tuna tar-tar which was one of the best I had ever tasted. Not cheap for San Juan, but very good food.
