Octopus, shrimp (curry coconut), rock lobster, curried crab plus grilled fish (mostly different varieties of snapper) are available. Prior to calling decide what you would like to eat and how you would like it to be prepared. Dinner is served with rice and peas plus greens. $75 for 2 with beer. Cocktails or wine BYOB.

For my birthday celebration, on a whim we decided to eat at this restaurant. What a fabulous experience. The view alone was worth coming here. Nestled amongst the rocks along the 7 Mile beach, this place offers a panaramic view of nature's paradise. Open sea as far as the eye can see on the west side provided views of a brilliant sunset. For diinner, I ordered the oxtail. The seasonings were sublime. The tails themselves were a little on the tough side and could have marinated a little longer. The peas and carrot that accompanied them were perfection. For desert, I was presented with a rare piece of rum cake. It was delicious.I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience a unique Jamiacan dining experience.

The Houseboat Grill

So we initially dismissed this restaurant thing that it was actually on a boat and my wife gets motion sick in a rocking chair. The concierge at Round Hill hotel highly recommended this place and he was spot on. It is a quaint 2-story open air “house boat” that is on the water but fixed in place (you have to take a little skiff about 20 feet from the shore to the “boat”). The food was fabulous and the view was amazing (try booking a table for sunset-you won’t be disappointed. If you need a ride to/from wherever your staying, you need to contact the best driver in all Montego Bay. His name is Goofy (876-435-1370), but there is nothing “goofy” about Goofy. We used him our entire stay and he is a gentle giant that will make sure you get where you want to go and you’re safe the entire time. We visited a number of “local” places and got nothing but great service.

We recently stayed at the Rock House Negril. We wanted to venture out for some local food. We ended up at Murphy’s. If you want very good local Jamaican cuisine, don’t miss out on Murphy’s! Food was excellent, may I suggest the curry octopus. It had excellent taste, and the octopus was prepared perfectly. It literally meted in your mouth. The prices were fair. Do not go there if you’re in a rush! It’s Jamaica and they are on Jamaican time. The food is prepared fresh. There isn’t a constant flow of customers so food is prepared when ordered. Also, they may not have all the items on the menu. They can’t afford to keep unlimited supplies because of the flow of patrons. Therefore, they may be out of some items. It’s Jamaica Mon. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of this. As far as Jamaican stars it’s a 5 star. Don’t miss out

After reading about the best lobster places in Negril, we agree with all of the reviews. The Office of Nature surpasses the reviews. See Dynamite for the best fresh and flavorful lobster dish you will ever have! Rice, bread and of course the fresh grilled lobster. We wished we had more cash on us to order drinks at the bar. Imagine sitting at the beach, them taking your order and then the chef heading to the water to get your fresh lobster from the sea. If you stay at Couples Negril it is a short and beautiful walk up the beach to The Office of Nature. When we return we will visit again and maybe 2x!! Thanks Dynamite and crew for the most amazing lobster we have ever had.

Stayed at the property on a recent trip and had 3 meals here. Our dinner the first night was very disappointing. We were sampling dishes to potentially have an event here. The only dish that we had that was ok was the curry shrimp. Figured it was on off night which happens. We had breakfast next morning the coconut toast was burnt on one side undone on the other. The pancakes were flat and mushy had to get them redone.Tried the Jamaican breakfast the next day the ackee and salt fish had so many bones in it I had to leave half of it on the plate. I was done. They need a chef. Maybe your experience will be better and I do hope it is but the third time was no charm for me. Too many other great places to enjoy a good meal.Thank you for choosing to dine in our restaurant. We are deeply disappointed your experience was less than satisfying. We are equally appalled that our food never matched your expectation, as this is the highlight of our restuarnt offering fresh , delicious farm to table meals. We do hope you may visit again in the future.

We visited this restaurant as it was a short walk from our resort. The ambiance was beautiful with lights and the sound of the ocean. We had a pretty large group of 11 people and Francine was our waitress. She did an amazing job of serving and helping us figure out what to order. I asked if they could make their jerk pasta dish with shrimp and they were very accommodating. We had a great time eating here, thank you!!!
