âDon Icoâ is located in a fishing village called Puerto Real, in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Donât expect many luxuries; just the best seafood youâll have. My husband had lobster and I had a filete de Capitán- a great fish. The owners of the restaurant also own the fishery right next door... so go figure if its fresh... i also had my beloved sorullitos, which are traditionally NOT sweet. Itâs a fried corn twist with mayo-ketchup.

After reserving the restaurant for a class reunion, a classmate friend, my husband and I decided to visit it for lunch. The food was tasty and the service was excellent even when the owner was not present and they didn't know who we were. Almost to the end of our lunch, Mr Frank Ramirez (owner) came to our table and found out about us and discussed few details regarding the event we were planning. He and his staff did a great job.

You can seat inside or outside-this place is in a Marina, so Outside view is great. Attention is fast and nice, appetizers are good, but if you ask for the "Yuca Empanadilla" be prepare it's really tiny (but really good)...very funny. Dont get out without trying the "arañitas" Big and great portion... Food overall is very good.

would highly recommend the grouper. Lobster dish was rubbery, Nice environment, over the water patio, with big tarpon in the harbor, There was a big place over the water for private events. Had to call the staff whenever you wanted something, they never checked on you, but were nice & pleasant and helpful. kind of nice sometimes to not have wait staff interrupting all the time so it was fine.

We were in Boqueron at lunch time and my daughter in-law wanted some empanadillas, pinchos or something she could buy in the street. My husband, son and granddaughter decided to eat there instead. After walking around and unable to find what she wanted, we returned to eat with them. They had already placed their order, but we were served fairly quick after we order and their food arrived. Everyone was friendly and the prices very reasonable.

They serve a delicious mofongos of Yucca or Plantain. I love the Traditional mofongo with mix sea food in red salsa. They welcome you with a basket of homemade bread with garlic and salad. The personnel was very kind and helpful. it was very inexpensive.

Very clean and friendly staff. Mofongo with fish warm and zesty sauce. Shrimp on butter sauce exquisite. Majado of yuca and ñame with a twist of vinegar brilliant. Will come back, husband happy.

The food was good and the price was reasonable. Some of us ordered the fried red snapper and the waiter asked us if we will prefer 2 small red snappers instead of a large one because it will be less weight than the big ones. Even the small snappers were big enough, but totaling about a pound less than the big fish. My 5 years old granddaughter had a blast feeding the fish and crabs with the leftover fish bones.

This is an outdoor family friendly restaurant. In front of a local road. Thus customers can be exposed to elements of nature. It offers a very relaxed and casual atmosphere. This gives an island vibe to the place. We ordered âaranitas rellenasâ and âmini alcapurrias de yucaâ to start. The octopus in these aranitas was hard to chew. Then ordered food for two. I had the avocado ârelleno de steakâ with a guava sauce and it was delicious. We also had âfilete de meroâ with âarroz manposteaoâ this was good as well. Good mojo to! Their service was great. Reasonable waiting time. $$
