Wife got sick after eating here... Service was lacking and ambiance left a lot to be desired. Cannot beleive these reviews are real considering the experience we had.To all our TripAdvisor reader. Unfortunately we have to tell you the guest who wrote this review never had dinner with us. We have tried to inform TripAdvisor but there answer was that there are no rules broken, apparently you are allowed to write fake bad reviews... Now everybody, lets figure this out together if what is written is true: -Every night 17 guest eat the same menu... Do you think its possible only his wife got sick, he didn't got sick and no other of my 15 guest wrote something similar? I thought so too. Now if you go to our FIRST 1 star review on February 23, 2013 you see its written by the same person, musicman40nj. Pretty odd don't we all think?? I think we have to a ''hater'' It was a pleasure to inform you about this. Maybe TripAdvisor will act one day accordingly. Yours Truly, The Management

Located on top level right on the beach great spot to overlook the beautiful ocean. My husband ordered the special amberjack nice piece of fillet fish, I had the ribs which were good I had extra barbecue sauce delivered. Bus service was great ! Friendly Service. Anniversary Sparklers. Great waitress. I ordered a Veal Chop because we were eating at the "Chop House". I should have had something else. My wife ordered a Filet Mignon (Medium). She was brought a Bloody rare steak.....ugh.There are too many alternative Eateries in Aruba to try.Dear Dave Sthank you for your review and we are sorry that the steak did not come out as it should. I have shared your comments with the dining room staff in order to make sure they bring the correct dish to the correct table.

Ike's Bistro is on the grounds of the Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa. We the breakfast here daily and had dinner one evening. The view is outstanding. You can look out to the water, but the poole is right in front of the restaurant. The birds can be a bit challenging. Rebecca, the hostess, was delightful. One day I ordered off the menu and had the spinach eggs benedict. It was not the best. The other days I opted for the buffet which had various options including an omelet station. Dinner was great. We had a shrimp and scallop appetizer which was very good. My main course was the short ribs which was also very tasty. The food here is very well seasoned. Thank you for your wonderful review and for acknowledging the great service by Rebecca and the other staff members. As to the birds, we are trying environmentally save methods to scare the birds away and we are getting more and more successful at it,

I've been to this place several times over the years. The place is nice, the food disappointed me. I have 2 kids who wanted the chicken nuggets. They were frozen chicken nuggets from McDonald's, attached is the pic, this was confirmed frozen from the waitress. How long does it take to bread chicken? When the kitchen takes shortcuts, who knows what other shortcuts they take. Why am I going to a restaurant to feed my kids McDonald's chicken nuggets? I am done with this place for good.

We dined at this restaurant twice. Both times had an excellent experience. Loved their live music while dining on the beach. Appetizers, salds, main course and deserts were very good. This is our second visit to the Lobby. We love it here. Great food and outstanding service. I highly recommend the tuna. Perfectly prepared and great price for the quality.
