This place is amazing, set on a private property and a member only club. The place is gorgeous with coral pillars and a high pavilion of wood to dine inside of. When we went it was around 7:30p and the place was barely crowded. Lobster tail was amazing. My friends pork chop was overcooked and they gladly replaced it with a lobster. Service was excellent. Top notch place and very romantic.

Spice Mill has become our go to place to eat as soon as we arrive on island. This yearâs visit did not disappoint. With its location directly on the beach, what better way to adjust to island time! For our group of 4, we enjoyed steak, burgers, and seafood. We hated to miss Neslyn this year but we hope she enjoyed her vacation! While we did not go back to enjoy their beach area during the day, we do recommend it for great chairs and good bar.

I love good jerk, have enjoyed good jerk pits for almost 40 years, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, etc. I ordered their jerk pork and asked if they had a jerk pit out back. No. It was OK grilled pork, not jerk. No pimento seasoning (allspice), no spicy hot pepper bite, I asked for some pepper sauce and she brought me Tabasco, really? Real jerk doesn't need extra pepper sauce. The only real jerk that I've had in SK, is the Jerk PIt at Bird Rock. It's the real deal at half the price. But no ambience. But real jerk. That's the tradeoff. But then again, who comes to St. Kitts for jerk?

Sprat net is wonderful restaurant located approximately 20 minutes north of Basseterre in Old Road Village. It is right on the water and is open for dinner. The owners are fishermen who go out in the morning and then serve their daily catch in the evening
A local dive master recommended this place and it was enjoyed. A bit on the hectic side-you ordered at a counter(line up) then payed across the room at the bar, then found a table space, inside the shed which was smokey to outside which we got. It took a while to get the food since they came around and asked who we were-6 times. When the food arrived we enjoyed it. We had ribs and local lobster( nothing like cold water type) and potato, squash, and bread and Jonnycake roll. The food was pretty good but the atmosphere was very good if you like that type of casual local flavor-we did. They had a band and the locals were there by the hundreds. aside for the students at the Vet school we might been the only "outsiders" The live lobsters were kept in a boat like tank so they were very fresh. I would recommend but get there by 6:30 because it got crowded and the parking is crazy.

A bit off the beaten path, but only 1/4 miles from the cruise ship port. Good local cuisine and authentic Caribbean food. Very casual, screened-porch setting. This establishment is a local Hotspot for lunch and is totally worth checking out.
It was unfortunate that we didn't find this spot sooner! If you enjoy authentic Caribbean food as a native of the Caribbean, you will not be disappointed. The food selection is vast and the prices are very reasonable. It's equivalent to dinner for American meal. I ate the fried snapper and my husband enjoyed the oxtail. And the service was prompt. The server was nice to explain the parking to avoid us getting a ticket! We will be back on our next trip to St. Kitts!Hello tsmar2008, .Sorry you didn't find us before, .Looking forward to your future visits. Jas Ken Elfredos team

Our host, Pauline Horton was gracious and delightful; she owns Serendipity along with her husband Alexander James. This amazing restaurant is located in the Fortlands near downtown Basseterre. The fantastic view of the harbor is exceeded by the excellent food, the outstanding service, delicious beverages and the totality of its al fresco dining experience. Serendipity came highly recommended to us by the Islandâs own Omoro Hodge, a recommendation confirmed by the many patrons who came to enjoy Serendipityâs welcoming atmosphere and exquisite culinary creations while we were there. For visitors like us to leaders and residents of the Island, Serendipity belongs on everyoneâs list of places to visit on St. Kitts.

We visited again for the second time our food was tasty and well presented, we then found sun beds on the beach and swam in the sea for a while, an all round great experience would highly recommend

Fantastic location ( right on the water front with a pier you can eat/chill on), cool restaurant design, REALLY attentive service, great food - visited twice with our daughters and everyone agreed it was one of the best places we ate. Recommend the evenings they have live music ( we went on a Thursday for this), also they hold a monthly full moon party which we did not try out but would if we return to St Kitts

We made reservations thru Nicola at the Marriott who recommended Marshalls. It was a stormy night (Tropical Storm) but we ventured out anyway. Alvin with Alvin taxi and tours picked us up, brought us to the restaurant and upon our arrival 2 gentlemen came running our with umbrellas for the ladies. We were seated next to a large window and the view was beautiful - tropical foliage all lit up with the glistening water drops. The food was delicious and the service second to none. It was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. When we finished, they called Alvin who was there in minutes to pick us up. Fabulous experience

We arrived in downtown Basseterre and searched for a restaurant with a great view, and we found this somewhat hidden gem!! Timo Bar and Kitchen is on the second floor and has literally the best view of the Carribean but you must first walk through a casino to get to the stairs!! It is very close to the cruise ship dock. The food was delicious, service great and the view spectacular!!! We definitely will return here! We loved it!Thank you very much. Will be our pleasure to host you again.
